@@DerrickVanderspoonI mean yeah that’s true but i also feel like them being normal retail would do well for them with manhunters because some people will want multiple of them,i see the point of the harder to get figures driving business but i feel a different character could have been better for that slot
It is annoying to hunt any of the Mcfarlane figures down and some of the paint details don't 100% match the comics, plus reusing old body parts. When Kenner did it with Batman it wasn't a big deal cause they were cheap but they need to really work on these. If I'm going to buy one it has to be really good with plenty of stuff to make it worth it.
When i 1st saw SportMaster, i thought he kinda look like Jason Voorhees from Jason X but the puffy blond hair is.... maybe i can find a hood to put over
I think you like battle damage characters because you got battle damaged as a kid and you liked it. Sort of as a fetish. And that´s OK if you´re into it.
I remember Manhunters from the 80’s, I’m guessing McFarlane must comb through old DC Who’s Who issues to mine for new figure ideas. I like this as a generic robot, especially cool head design.
Lawrence "Crusher" Crock is a supervillain who as his name suggests he is a master at various sports and uses sports themed weapons and has an Olympic athletic ability and advanced hand to hand combat. He was originally an enemy to Alan Scott Green Lantern and Wild Cat. Also he had a live action appearance in DC Universe/ HBO Max/ CW TV show of Star Girl which the show is based more on Golden Age heroes as an Antagonist/alley to Star Girl
Where is the logic in making a potential army builder (Manhunter) character extra hard to find and purchase?
Because Todd lol (totally agree with your point)
Artificial rarity and FOMO helps drive business. That’s the logic.

I would have bought 3 Manhunters at their retail price if they weren’t Platinum.
The Manhunter Robot looks cool! XD
Definitely picking up sportsmaster for a custom Casey jones
Same, except I'm going to turn mine into jason 😂
@@WayneJayne24 I'm curious, why not just buy a NECA Jason lol?
Sports Master would definitely be my mad dog on my shelf
I definitely want a few manhunters.
Man Hunter is irresistible ❤😂
I’m told no man escapes
I really need to find a Manhunter!
As far as i can remember, Sportsmaster is pretty much vacant and just made Mad Dog just cause of the YJ look
The two of my favorite ones are Manhunter and Reverse Flash
If I ever get the manhunter figure I would turn it into a magneto custom figure

The man hunter robot reminds me of magneto

If you're not happy with that Reverse Flash, my Suicide Squad collection will gladly take him 😉
Man hunters was awesome!
Wild Dog !!!! That would be great
Cool figures but I ain't going through all that jazz to get these. I don't chase figures no more.
McFarlane overall has an issue with their lack of army builders and this is just infuriating. Thanks for the review.

Sooo the Devil Flash
WILD DOG!
I NEED my Jason Voorhees!
Neca has plenty of them
Casey Jones vs Sportsmaster (TMNT vs DC), who would win?
Cast your votes now.
So what i have to do to get this figures ?
Tumbler arriving Monday
Batman beyond’s boot jets are way bigger. I think those are new. Just sayin 😉
They’re batwings. Try and enjoy the vid.

The Man Hunter looks great. Sportsmaster looks pretty solid. Reverse Flash is just plain ugly. If I ever get RF I would repaint him into Thawne.
He’s missing his staff
Soooo Casey Jones
I’ve got a red electric Superman I can send you. It’s the blue one that keeps eluding me lol. But great coffee with your vids, always on hand.
Pm on insta! Maybe we can work something out. Thank you!
What’s Sportsmaster’s backstory? Never heard of him before now.

Watch young justice he’s a decently used villain there
@@davidmarrero9608 thanks of the info.
Jason x custom..
Can manhunter control metal
No he’s just a space police robot. Predates green lanterns
Fuck these chase only figures, there should 100% be commons
I agree chase variants are fine I guess but full on different figures being considered a chase is kind of ridiculous
