It hits different when a bride speaks about what she needs in a dress as opposed to what she wants. I wish many healthy years of bliss for her and her groom.
The dress she chose took my breathe away. Absolutely stunning.
Her husband to be is a prime example of not all heroes wear capes. He's a 💯 %keeper
She has such an awareness of herself and what she needs and wants. Add that to her matter-of-fact answers and straightforward decision making process and I think her fiance is a lucky man and he is going to be gobsmacked when he sees her!
Sorry, but I thought she was blunt almost to the point of rudeness. Going through serious illness doesn't give a person the excuse to be short and unkind. Her attitude is a little self-centered, I think.

She's beautiful, her personality is beautiful, the dress is beautiful, and the whole ep is beautiful (and calming)!
I thought she was a little rude. Especially her comments about the first dress. Going through serious illness doesn't give a person an excuse to be so blunt and unkind to others. I have been close to death myself and never spoke to anyone the way she does. Many people endure cancer treatments and have more appreciative attitudes for having survived.

All the dresses looked lovely on her but the dress she picked was PERFECT. AND IT HAS POCKETS!!!
Yes!!! If a wedding dress doesn’t have pockets, I’m not buying it! My prom dress in high school had pockets and it was an absolute game changer!
This one brought the tears. No drama no silly relatives, just a beautiful bride, great supportive friends, and an understanding and caring host.
I love SYTTD Ireland... beautiful dresses, attentive assistants, interesting feminine brides without all the drama. Great episode.
I've noticed there's not as many harsh insults being slung just to hurt the bride and impact her decision as with the US SYTTD.
I havent seen this full episode but I relate to this lady, minus the cancer.
I hope to have the same support she did when I make my dress for my day.

This is the most appealing bride of all the many clips I've seen. Direct, unself-pitying, honest, funny, sarcastic but not in an unpleasant way. She picked a good dress but really, she looked beautiful in the dream dress she would have worn "pre-cancer" too. I'm not sure why she thought that dress was now wrong for her body.
She thought it was wrong because it made her feel self conscious about her scaring. She was worried about a strapless dress feeling less secure. I think the a-line skirt was also less restrictive than the trumpet and likely gave her better mobility. She was more worried about practical considerations.
Love how much her best friend loves her and knows her so well that she picked the perfect dress for her. Beautiful girl
So glad she is healthy now and that she found a good man. Bless them all.
After hearing her back story, all I can say is "don't let that man get away!"
As someone who's been battling breast cancer for the past year, this one really touched my heart! ❤️ All hough I havnt went through all that Siobhan has, I still relate to how she feels about her scars and how she feels in her body!! It's really hard trying to get BK to feeling comfortable in your own skin and feeling like a woman again!! But she is just an absolutely adorable girl and looks so amazing in her dress!! But I honestly really liked the last strapless in she tried on, loved the way it fitted her form!! But the one she chose was still stunning!! Loved this episode!!!!
Cancer is a son of a bitch.
That's what got my gg at the end, all the treatments from the three cancers, ovarian, cervical, and lung, she beat caught up to her and her heart, liver, and kidneys all failed at the same time.
She passed away 15 minutes after she got home from the hospital, enough time for her to be tucked into bed and my aunt to hold her hand. She was almost 94.
I hope you beat it, no matter what. I've heard cancer be called a Dragon, strong, unstoppable, and relentless.
You're the knight in shining armor, battling until one of you falls.

She is incredibly beautiful and sincerely think she just stunned everything with her presence and bravery. The second and third dresses were outstanding on her but the third is just... She outshined everything in it. Hope she's healthy and happy now, she made everything wonderful here.
As another breast cancer survivor and tomboy I get this girl so much. The mastectomy, scars etc messes with your self esteem. Siobhan and her husband are obviously solid as a rock. Best wishes from Australia. 🐨💟
I know exactly how she feels. I had ovarian and uterine cancer, plus a recurrence of the uterine cancer 2 years later. Treatment changes your life and your whole body and your mind. She looked beautiful in all the dresses.

When I met my husband, I was struggling with a mysterious, extremely painful back problem that affected my ability to walk, exercise, everything. I gained weight, lost tone, moved differently. After we'd been dating for a bit, I learned that my back pain was caused by child abuse, there was no cure, and I would be painfully disabled for the rest of my life. You can only imagine the emotions! It never crossed my husband's mind to leave me. With all these changes to my body, picking a wedding dress was emotional. I used a (very fancy) cane at our ceremony and sat for most of it. I used my mobility scooter at the reception. I think I understand quite a bit about this woman's emotions.
The bride has a wonderful sense of humor. Lovely group of women too-all so supportive.

You know designers do make wedding rompers and some of them are every bit as beautiful as a dress. Listening to her saying she doesn't like nor feel comfortable in dresses, and other information she gave about herself, a wedding romper seems the way to go. So glad she did find a dress she really loves and makes her feel special! She is beautiful and deserves to feel beautiful.
