As I have said before, Mike, you are an absolute artist when it comes to heavy equipment. My Dad was the same way back in his day. Thanks for another enjoyable video. Tell the family I said hi and "Have a Day"! Chris from South Central West Virginia
I'm about 100 hours into my SLV-95 and share your sentiments. When you look for new forks, make certain they are pass through which allows old-man ingress-egress from the cockpit.
Sound of that new machine reminds me of the baseball card I had on the spokes of my bike about 60 years ago...LOL You are totally into earth moving now Mike, have fun!
I like the combo of the 57 digging to feed the 95 in this video. I love the toothed bucket 50x more than the finish bucket for doing this kind of work. Excellent video thanks for taking the time to edit so well.
Mike, now this is what I was talking about the other day[yesterday]. grading at its finest. Moved a bunch in just a short time and raised your grade at end of run what 2 - 2 -1/2 feet? That is a fast machine you have. Well done Mike Morgan, well done. Not a "New" machine anymore there now quite your smiling at it. Have a safe day out there but have fun too.
Enjoyed the presentation & camera work as well as the editing, and the host was pretty good too, a pleasure to watch a skilled operator enjoying the work and respecting their equipment he/she has to work with . At the end I also enjoyed the soundtrack might be strange, to to me it seemed just to tie everything together ……10/10 thanks

Good evening Morgans and friends. Woke up to everything being covered in snow this morning. Snowed off and on all day. So ready for spring but it will eventually jump straight to summer more then likely. Love the new machine Mike. Hope all are well. Have a great evening and we'll see you all down the road.......thanks.
I see several more loads of stone in the future for the Morgan homestead. 😆 Great job Mike. You are going to have a great work area for all of your woodworking activities. Stay safe and have fun.
Impressed by the demonstrated capacityof the new equipment. I can see the skills in dirt moving and road building that you honed on the smaller machines translated into a smooth operation that accomplishes more work in less time.
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy, you be gonna move a lotta dirt with that machine! That does a fantastic job of raking the dirt when you pull it in reverse. Great video Mike thumbs up.
Holy cow! That thing is huge! I could hardly see you in there! lol You couldn't have picked a better project to break in the machine! Nice and easy back and forth and using all the functions with no beating. I see a forestry mulcher in your future and lots of scenic views being created. Melissa may have to drag you in at night! lol Almost forgot! I bought a new TYM 25. They make your old RKs, Mahindra, and one or two others. I love it and I gave Deere the first shot at it but I just couldn't spend the extra $6k on a proprietary machine that is considerably less capable. I was leery about the Kukjen engine till I found out Cummins makes them. I'm already buying implements. We'll see.
Nice to see you kick into that fill with the new machine, looks like its gonna make easy work of what would've been a long haul. May I just say "Kid With A New Toy"...LOL made me smile watching the vid. Great purchase Mike.

Afternoon from cloudy Ontario.... Mike that's going to be a game changer on your property.... Watch out trails, Mike's coming for you... Thanks Pete from Canada 🇨🇦
Something you might experiment with is to run a couple loops of old logging chain across the back of the bucket, pinned up on the corners. It keeps the back of the bucket from caking up like that, and when it clangs it gives you an auditory cue that the bucket is empty. I discovered this by accident with my skid loader. See if it works for you. :)
Doesn't help much in sticky clay soil. We did that for production loading in SoCal and it worked ok because it a lean clay. Doesn't help on wet fat clays.
Mike Morgan; with all of his lovely "Big Boy Toys"! I really enjoy your knowledge of all these big machines. Mike, have you noticed how much more effective that a tracked vehicle is at compacting soil than a wheeled vehicle? Man you are handling that track loader like real pro. What a nice addition to your equipment collection.
Mike I have moved hundreds and hundreds of yards of dirt over the years but mostly with a Case 1845C and it's hard to call it work because its so enjoyable to see your accomplishments when you have finished each and every job. I've used track machines and they are incredibly more powerful and efficient
Nice first project for the SVL-97! It occurs to me that you could get that back into the timber during the wet season, and much faster than walking the excavator in and out. Good looking machine, and it appears to work as good as it looks.
You did a really nice job first time on the machine.... also I was told to dig over the idelers rather than the sprockets whenever possible. Minimizes wear on the sprockets. Great job.
Yes i did an entire video on that before, reason I didn't do it here was because i kept the blade on the downhill side to level up machine some and keep it from sliding around on the wet grass
Hello Mike, Your doing a great job Sith your new machine. You make it look so easy. Mike can't imagine how much you and Levi could do with the skid loader and excavator in a days worth of moving dirt for the new driveways. I can see you getting a snowblower for the skid loader and starting a snow removal business in the neighborhood. Ever thought about clearing out a big area down by the wood processing area and putting up a shed and storing your equipment and wood totes inside and use your scrap wood for burning wood in a wood stove to heat up the shed. You can put the dump truck and trailers and the rest of the equipment you have in it.
No spring here in west central Ohio yet. Been having mini blizzards of and on all day. Turns everything white then 10 minutes later it gone. Great job Mike,, looks like a lot of fun.
A little tip to save you some fuel and smooth out the operation. Instead of running your throttle at a set speed use your foot feet to control the engine speed. The machine should be able to produce power fast without running wide open all the time. It is a good practice when you are in tight quarters. I run a cat and it works a lot smoother that way. Take it or leave it it’s just a thought from someone that has been running them for 30 years.
Do you need to add any lime to stabilize the fill? Or is the shale enough? And are you going to roller pack it? Just curious as it’s obvious you have done this before
