Elon is not saying anything new about the grooming, and actually the head of the current, ongoing investigation is saying that Elon's meddling is hurting the victims, because it will cause delays. It's an old thing; the investigation called for has already happened, and the conservatives sat on the results and did nothing. The Labour government has said they will be implementing *all* recommendations from that investigation. And once they proposed the first law for that purpose, the conservatives tried to kill the bill. Yes, they included words about wanting another investigation (that would take more years) targeted at blaming a small percentage of the problem already covered by the last investigation, but the only part of that that had actually parliamentary relevance was in the first sentence, which asked to kill the bill, period. The rest were just comments. So, which side is trying to protect the groomers here? Oh, and Starmer was involved in reporting on the problem when it blew up the last time, and already caused as much improvement as was in his power back then. The cost of ownership? Here in Texas, when using Tesla Energy, it only costs me a flat $15 per month to charge my Model 3 at home. I just plug it in, and it automatically charges between midnight and 6 am. $15 bucks a month for all the juice I can use (vs $350 for my old F150). Can’t beat it!!!

You mention the low sales of Tesla in Poland. But in Germany Tesla is also a non-factor in terms of sales. I understand his frustration with the current government, but it is no justification to try to pump up a clearly fascist party in the country. 13:03 - our model Y’s 3rd birthday is in 2 weeks, still zero maintenance (except for one busted tire that needed replacing; Tesla took care of all related costs except the $400 tire itself: 2 tows, house call for install, balance, labor, etc; 2 more free house calls. And mostly free fuel the whole time, of which we had no advance idea.
105K miles on a 7 year old model S. One charge port replacement. $250 out the door, Tesla guy came out and replaced the charge port in my garage in 30 minutes. That’s the whole maintenance. Best car ever made.

Those cars looked parked not just stopped for the truck don't know if that makes a difference just wanted to mention that. And there were like 7 or 8 car lengths away from the truck how fast were you going I would have given it a little another car length or two before I disengaged.

The blue path disappears a split second before disengagement. Pause the video and watch it frame by frame to see the sequence. I suspect FSD would have stopped but it would have been a hard braking stop.

How many human drivers require interaction with brakes and steering wheel by the passenger to prevent accidents about once every 13 miles on average? There are some human drivers who do, but those tend to be the ones high on meth or something.

I think FSD did see it if you watch it in slow motion. I don't hover the controls and I use FSD in crazy traffic. I am vigilant when an unusual situation arises but FSD has figured it out every time.

Regarding political pushback against buying Teslas in Poland, many people are not particularly enamored of Elon's politics. Nonetheless, he has arguably done more to move the world in the direction of sustainable energy and compelling EVs than anyone else. Also, not every owner of Tesla or builder of Teslas is Elon Musk. The cars are the best!
People also used to say that one guy can't run 2 companies at the same time back in 2014. No doubt that being polarizing doesn't help the business, but then again, I don't think that Tesla need to sell cars to every demographic for it to succeed tremendously. They're still gonna sell megapacks, FSD software, robotaxi, and Optimus to the tune of billions if not more.
Wow, just unsubscribed. I was an Elon Musk super fan and have followed his work closely since 2008. He accomplished such a long list of great things. After his ultra success began somewhere around 2019 and his ego took control I still defended him because of all of the positive contributions he had made. About a year ago I reached a point where I believe his behavior became indefensible. I could no longer identify the mission statement of Tesla in anything he was doing. At one point I believed he might be making the largest positive contribution to the human race of anyone on the planet. I now believe there are few individuals making a worse impact on the human race. I understand your channel is based on Tesla. You provide some good EV information, so even after Elon's change of direction I followed your work. However, the continued defense of anything Elon is a broken record and for me has removed the channel's credibility.

Please take the time to investigate exactly what went on, this horrific crime was investigated with many royal commissions into it and it was the previous government who refused to act on the findings. I have a 2021 model Y with over 105k miles. Aside from tires, air filters, wipers and wiper fluid, I’ve spent about $479 for internal humidity and temp sensor, and front upper control arms
My 2021 Model Y in 4+ years of ownership total "maintenance" cost has been ~$450!!!!! Annual insurance ~$1600 (it's CA!!). License fee ~$650. 2024 "fuel" cost $882. 2024 Maintenance cost $0.00. Model Y 2024 total running cost ~$3132. Our previous vehicle cost for fuel alone for 2024 would have been $2200 (25mpg @ $5/gal). Add fees, taxes and insurance to the previous vehicle costs and the total is over $4000.
Just because Musk says no one has investigated the UK grooming story does not make it true. The UK did have a major national investigation and a report was produced. The Previous Conservatives did not do much about it, main because they were not doing much about anything. The far fight in the UK keeps trying to blame immigrants even though the the stats and reports show that it is Angloxons i.e. WASPs have the highest rate of being groomers.

It's an old thing; the investigation called for has already happened, and the conservatives sat on the results and did nothing. The Labour government has said they will be implementing *all* recommendations from that investigation. And once they proposed the first law for that purpose, the conservatives tried to kill the bill. Yes, they included words about wanting another investigation (that would take more years) targeted at blaming a small percentage of the problem already covered by the last investigation, but the only part of that that had actually parliamentary relevance was in the first sentence, which asked to kill the bill, period. The rest were just comments.

The cost of ownership? Here in Texas, when using Tesla Energy, it only costs me a flat $15 per month to charge my Model 3 at home. I just plug it in, and it automatically charges between midnight and 6 am. $15 bucks a month for all the juice I can use (vs $350 for my old F150). Can’t beat it!!!

13:03 - our model Y’s 3rd birthday is in 2 weeks, still zero maintenance (except for one busted tire that needed replacing; Tesla took care of all related costs except the $400 tire itself: 2 tows, house call for install, balance, labor, etc; 2 more free house calls. And mostly free fuel the whole time, of which we had no advance idea.
105K miles on a 7 year old model S. One charge port replacement. $250 out the door, Tesla guy came out and replaced the charge port in my garage in 30 minutes. That’s the whole maintenance. Best car ever made.

The blue path disappears a split second before disengagement. Pause the video and watch it frame by frame to see the sequence. I suspect FSD would have stopped but it would have been a hard braking stop.

Be very careful around high flatbeds
High flat beds are very difficult to see, particularly based on the color of the background. This is true for both human drivers and FSD. Basic reality check. Stay vigilant.

I think FSD did see it if you watch it in slow motion. I don't hover the controls and I use FSD in crazy traffic. I am vigilant when an unusual situation arises but FSD has figured it out every time.

Regarding political pushback against buying Teslas in Poland, many people are not particularly enamored of Elon's politics. Nonetheless, he has arguably done more to move the world in the direction of sustainable energy and compelling EVs than anyone else. Also, not every owner of Tesla or builder of Teslas is Elon Musk. The cars are the best!

No doubt that being polarizing doesn't help the business, but then again, I don't think that Tesla need to sell cars to every demographic for it to succeed tremendously. Wow, just unsubscribed. I was an Elon Musk super fan and have followed his work closely since 2008. He accomplished such a long list of great things. After his ultra success began somewhere around 2019 and his ego took control I still defended him because of all of the positive contributions he had made. About a year ago I reached a point where I believe his behavior became indefensible. I could no longer identify the mission statement of Tesla in anything he was doing. At one point I believed he might be making the largest positive contribution to the human race of anyone on the planet. I now believe there are few individuals making a worse impact on the human race. I understand your channel is based on Tesla. You provide some good EV information, so even after Elon's change of direction I followed your work. However, the continued defense of anything Elon is a broken record and for me has removed the channel's credibility.

My 2021 Model Y in 4+ years of ownership total "maintenance" cost has been ~$450!!!!! Annual insurance ~$1600 (it's CA!!). License fee ~$650. 2024 "fuel" cost $882. 2024 Maintenance cost $0.00. Model Y 2024 total running cost ~$3132. Our previous vehicle cost for fuel alone for 2024 would have been $2200 (25mpg @ $5/gal). Add fees, taxes and insurance to the previous vehicle costs and the total is over $4000.

Just because Musk says no one has investigated the UK grooming story does not make it true. The UK did have a major national investigation and a report was produced. Fuel: $0 (live in an apartment, do not get charged for the electricity... same price as an ICE parking stall)
Maintenance: $100 (have done routine maintenance once in 3.5 years for ~$300)
Insurance: $1350 (based on most recent year, it has grown significantly like all auto insurance over the 3.5 years and was much cheaper before)
Fees/taxes: $500/year (probably a bit lower than that, but roughly what my annual vehicle registration is)
Running cost: $1950/year
There is no excuse for backing a neo-Nazi party in Germany, or for what Musk said about preserving German culture and so on. Musk has to resign or be removed from ANY position at Tesla. Musk is now extremely explicitly the main AI related danger to the future of humanity and he cannot be allowed access to a mature AI.

My v13.2.2 fsd experience is a regression: it is tailgating in Chill mode, and changes lanes too often. It is not relaxing supervision anymore. I hope they give back the "minimize lane changes" checkbox and increase the following distance
