@Dbz death If you're wondering if I think the MCU is good because I'm young, you should know that I had low expectations for Eternals, Love And Thunder, and Mulitverse of Madness. For Love and Thunder, I knew it was going to be silly because I saw some reviews for it beforehand. For Multiverse of Madness, I only watched it for Sam Raimi and I didn't really care about the cameos/multiverse stuff, and that I enjoyed too. And for Eternals, even though it is not a perfect film, there was surprisingly some things I really liked in that movie. The TV shows I found decent to great was Hawkeye, Lori, and WandaVision. @Jimmy-j5z yeah, but they probably have more money now
I was so blown away of how bad was the special effects overall for 'Love and Thunder', I mean, isn't Thor one of marvel's big hitters? Why was the budget so tiny?
The budget was $250 million, which more expensive than NWH. The problem is that they didn’t plan out the shots properly, rushed and underpaid VFX artists per usual.
It's not about the budget. TIME.
I don't know how you can say the special effects were bad at all in that film. Everything looked like it had similar quality to the Guardians of the Galaxy movies, but probably better because its newer stuff.
And the floating head to me wasn't bad CGI. It just didn't look aesthetically pleasing and looked out of place so it felt a little silly at first. I mean it's literally a big floating child's head. You gotta give Shang-Chi some credit bro. The exterior shots of the bus fight scene were actual practical effects (they used a real bus attached to a garbage truck to hit cars). Black Panther should get a pass. Everyone was working on Infinity war at that point
Why is the Shangchi one bad? The bar is still attached to the ceiling and the ground, it being cut in half doesn’t mean it is now detached from the ceiling and the ground, and these bar are design for multiple people to hold on to during a bus ride, so it should still have enough standing power for a couple swing before it starts to deform
It was cut both top and bottom, you can see both cuts there
tbh I didn’t find it that bad, just a little annoying
@@cara-seyun no in 00:01 and 00:02 you see the rails just have grey metal bands around them
@@Giovfunny ah yes, grey metal bands that just happen to be exactly where he cut
When they call Yelena Ms marvel 💀💀
so mad disney had to take over, honestly 😖
For a movie franchise that's been going on for over 10 years 1 minute worth of bad CGI is impressive
Yo that Thor clip look like a Snapchat filter 😂😂
thanos: snaps
cgi: i don’t feel so good
Godzilla minus one can do cgi way better then marvel at half the price
I like how you didn't include any scene from She-Hulk because that would have made basically her entire series into the video
Yes.
Fax
Shang-Chi gets a pass because that's literally the best fight scene in the entire MCU.
Now it's the hallway fight scene from GOTG 3
To be honest though, those few moments didn't really kill the movies for me personally
People who say that a few seconds of bad CGI killed the experience for them are just nitpicky
@CrimsonTheWorld Not when you have a two hundred and fifty million dollar budget that was supposedly used for the film you're watching. At that point, the studio is just being cheap by cutting corners and over over rushing their workers, I'm allowed to be nitpicky.
@nobodyyouknow7226 Their budget being high or them cutting corners doesn't make it more acceptable to be nitpicky. Judging an entire movie from one scene of bad CGI is like saying a game is trash because a single cutscene has bad camera controls. Deadlines exist as well
@nobodyyouknow7226 I really don't understand how you guys see a movie. Have 99% good cgi, then when you see a part of bad cgi, immediately turn on the movie. I really don't get it. It's like you mfs aren't even there to watch the movie, just to be nitpicky 🤷♂️
What killed Thor: Love and Thunder for me personally was the constant goat screaming.
took me a sec to notice the shang chi part
This is why you don't rush projects to completion
I thought the Shang Chi one is fine because the metal poles only got cut in the middle and thus the poles still stuck well enough
in the black panther final fight scene they were given 6 weeks to make it so you gotta excuse that
Not really they could of given them more time💀
@@no-barkthechosenone2436 the release date was in six weeks...
@@Christopher15096 so what? It’s their fault for overestimating how much time they had
@@no-barkthechosenone2436 movies arent easy to make, your saying this like it was easy 💀
@@Christopher15096 I’ll forgive my doctor then for botching a heart transplant as surgery is hard to do
To be fair to No Way Home, it was made in probably one of the worst months of Covid. Black Widow though? No excuses 💀
yeah like that's the only one truly unacceptable to me, i mean you released the movie a whole YEAR later it's initial release date, how did you not fix that scene? how did it pass quality control?
black widow looked great most of the time, its just that scene and the helicopter crash scene.
The black panther one looked awful because marvel had to outsource it to another company and were only given weeks to cram the whole fight. Kinda sad to see it be unpolished
Again, incredibly stupid excuse for a multi trillion dollar company and a movie with a budget of hundreds of millions.
@@jon2067 But the issue wasn't about money, it was about time. Doesn't matter how much money Disney has, they can't manipulate time.
@@MaddMaster69 just give them more time LUL. They set themselves up for failure if they had to rush a movie.
@@oldbot64 They have a massive schedule, with studios like Pixar, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Fox, and Marvel. They try their best to place every film/show in a position where it doesn't overlap with another one of their properties. If they were to delay the film, it would have had to been by months later, which is unnecessary because the rest of the CGI is good.
Besides, the failure wasn't in the CGI, but from the directing.
@@jon2067 TIME BITCH
The Shang chi one: tell me you’ve never been on a bus without telling me you’ve never been on a bus
"Thor Love and Thunder" was so terrible that I didn't notice how ugly the CGI was.
love how most of this was phase 4
I knew the ending BP fight was bad. But what probably takes the cake is how the camera has to adjust its angle to make it work. Like they aren't even hiding that is how they are making it work. Can someone do a 180 around a pillar? Yes. But you can literally pinpoint the exact moment when they did the swap and the need to CGI in the transition which makes it seems like it defies the laws of physics to make it work.
The Dark part Is that the cgi artists on Marvel are treated like slaves. 0-0
Next one should just be every she hulk episode 😂
The cgi is not bad, only parts of it are most of it os pretty good
You forgot to put every single waking moment of the She Hulk tv series in here.
None of this is half as bad as She Hulk
