GSP joking around with Ariel on asking the same questions from different angles was great, definitely one of my favorite fighters ever. Awesome selection of interviews. Was good to re-listen to a couple of these and hear a few new ones for me.

Great show - Luv listening to Cruz, the guy is a precocious fighter, a savant really..... If Cruz had come up in boxing he'd be a world champion..... He is an instinctive boxer, meaning his footwork, form & technical skills are brilliant..... He will Never be beaten at 135 lbs while in his prime....

Tj strikes me as moderately unintelligent. When I listen to him talk I can't help but suspect that he does not have a very high iq. Maybe I am crazy but he definitely seems like the special ed type of guy.

But I do feel for T.J. in this particular situation - he was really caught in the middle of cat fight between Ludwig & Faber.... but that being said, Loyalty is the Single most important quality in life.... you can be the dumbest mother Ucker on planet earth but if you are Loyal you will succeed.... It's easy to find another has been like Ludwig who can teach a wrestler to walk straight forward & punch but what T.J. is going to realize is that a monkey can be trained to do that.... Cruz has real instinctive boxing skills & that's a World of difference from anything "punching bag" Ludwig can teach him.....

Under normal circumstances Cruz is the much more technical and better fighter than TJ however Cruz has been tru the Mill with injuries in the past 5years and has very little Cage activity in that time..So we really dont kno how well Cruz will hold up, a fuckin shame..
Poor TJ, grasping for straws. Conor didn't move to Vegas, he RENTED a house for him and his team during fight camp. He just BOUGHT a house on a fat golf course in Ireland. It's getting so difficult to like you TJ.

This isn't really a "best of". You guy didn't cut up as edit the interviews to get only the good parts. All they did is pick some good interviews and just play them back to back with no editing. Disappointing.

Who's the favorite between Dillashaw/Cruz?
There is absolutely no reason for BJ Penn to be retired right now as far as his capability is concerned.
He only lost to one fighter in his own weight division in the past 12 years. Frankie Edgar. That's it. The only other loss in his weight division was Jens Pulver, which he avenged later in his career.
He could probably beat the majority of the top 5 contenders right now if he really wanted it.
I know a lot appreciate "what Dominick Cruz started", but does he even sell? "The Chicago event was a hard sell because they (UFC Brass) doesn't believe he's the Champion". Do people even pay for him, because I don't, and might never.
What do you mean 'Best of MMA Hour'? It's a topical show that's only relevant the day and week it airs. The interviews mean nothing a month afterwards. The fighters don't even care what they say, and always apologize after the fight, and claim it was all to hype the fight. So Ariel, which is it? Do you 'like doing the show more than any of could possibly imagine'? Or are you cashing in like McGregor? Why not take all of December off like Stern? Maybe that's next year.
