I truly believe Curtis Blaydes is the real reason Jon Jones is afraid ...YES I said afraid, to put his legacy on the line at HW against a guy who lost to HW's Jon could possibly beat. But we all know styles make fights and Curtis is getting Jon down. He is going to beat Jon up on the ground for maybe 5 rounds. Jon Jones putting on natural muscle and wanting to be 270 pounds ? That's going to slow his a** down and he already started slowing down and fighting more cautiously in his last couple fights. Blaydes is a monster and getting better at that.

one thing this episode seems to forget is that professional sport kickboxing was known as karate until quite recently, or rather "gloved karate" like nearly all kickboxing organisations started as professional karate organisations that expanded their scope to become what we know today as Kickboxing, this includes K-1 etc

Nothing will change until the fighters band together, which will not happen anytime soon just based on how things are structured (backroom bonuses, perks & incentives for their top draws, etc.). If it's really irking you so much, you need to bring Nate Quarry & co. back to update on their ongoing lawsuit against the UFC and push for an Ali Act in MMA. The fighters below the 1%, understandably, have too much to risk in pursuing a union.
It sounds to me like the guy thinks all UFC fighters, 500 plus should be on the sort of money 💰 that they are sorted for life, with added benefits, even if that happened for arguments sake the costs will be passed onto the consumer, the corporation and their shareholders will never take less than the athletes, I also would rather they not turn into some of the egotistical over paid typical American billionaire sports people who are woefully out of touch with reality, soccer players too, billionaires who play with balls.

Realistically if wonderboy is calling out Lawler then he is admitting he isn’t a top level guy anymore. And I’m a huge Wonderboy fan… plus he literally said his age is affecting his ability to come back after a weight-cut, so even though the fans knew it already- it’s a big thing that he is essentially admitting himself that his age has caught up with him and can’t hang with the top guys

So yes, any past prime fighters would want the likes of Lawler or Diaz as it is a name value and an "easier" fight. You will not see the likes of Leon Edwards call out Lawler, but you might for example see someone like McGregor or Donald Cerrone call out Lawler due to their relative positions.
