Very nice indeed. I'm just a wee bit past beginner and your vids have inspired to to work harder & practice smarter. I'm probably going to get a Godin/Gr 55 and learn to use it right along with learning to play guitar. As your other vids show.....this technology is something everyone has dreamed about for decades. Now it's here. Thanks for your hard work in these videos :)
Ah thank you so much Jocko. That means a lot. I'm luck y doing what I love mot for a living, and just passing on my passion and discoveries is a good part of that. Good luck!
Hi, I’ve watched both of your videos on this guitar and they are very well done. The only thing is out of the several videos about this guitar nobody has given an example of how the frequency selector switch works and sound between the 2 settings. Does it only work with the Din connection or is it used with both outputs?
This guitar outshines any other,I bought a Grand Concert Nylon recently,For Classical Guitar {Playing, and it shows up all the other Guitars i have,Some Quite expensive Classical Guitars.
I love it for much of my studio work, however the sheer craftsmanship and sound quality from my custom made Trevor Semple Concert Guitar is my favourite. Glad you're loving it though.
Not played one myself, but it does look good. If you get the chance to try out it out against other guitars, just to make sure. That would be my best suggestion. Wish you luck!
Hi Andrew! Thanks for the video. Quick Q: how does the guitar sound when playing with headphones? Would you say it could annoy neighbours? Or is it safe to play in the evenings/mornings? Cheers!
It is a quiet instrument for practice. You will not need headphones, however if you are going through and amp, DAW or synth, you can plug in headphones then to hear the effected sound.
I have included one in ua-cam.com/video/5Ti09xJOQWQ/v-deo.html video. But will do some more specific videos on the GR55 and Godin connectivity in due course. Covid restrictions mean I am without my studio for the near future.
I have a multiac acs. I've come from playing a beat up cheap classical with low tension strings to this. I keep making the e and b strings jump from the saddles. Am I playing the guitar too rough?
Beautiful arrangement and playing! If I may ask a question about the Multiac Andrew. How good does it sound when recorded? Does it have an authentic nylon sound when going direct into an interface and to your DAW? I have an electro acoustic nylon guitar and it is very disappointing when recorded direct. It sounds more like an electric jazz guitar than a classical acoustic no matter how much I tweak the EQs. If the Godin sounds good recorded then I'm very interested in getting one. Thanks in advance!
Thank you. I have several recordings on my latest album open.spotify.com/album/1BTdc1JFbnHp55VoLKKcFW?si=_28a1SjoS0mvsV9a_XVvfQ "Albion"- has the guitar sound. plus i have some other reviews that demos this.
First electric in 15 years, I am getting this Godin tomorrow. Please help me out by listing some vital gear, amplifiers, synths, etc. thank you very much. Subbed.
Does it sound (almost) like any nylon guitar without amp as well? I mean If sometime I just want to playing for fun with an acoustic friend player without amp?
If you own one of these you will be spending most of your time faffing around with gadgets trying to get a decent tone. They always sound a bit naff. However if you can play well and you have expensive gear it’s just about acceptable.
Beautiful playing!! Amazing informative demo of all the Godin Concert Grand can do! Keep playing and demos!!
Thanks, will do!
Great tone! It reminds me with a touch of Cavatina on still got the blues
Love your version of still got the blues...beautiful style of play..
Many thanks!

When he is not playing guitar, he is defending the republic from the separatist and cleaning up Anakin's mess
Ha ha . The force is strong with this one!,
Yeah, definitely you called it out. He looks like Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Absolutely beautiful arrangement of "Still Got the Blues"!!!! I was going to ask for the tabs but I doubt I have the ability to play it!!
Thank so much. It was an improvisation, so I have no tabs I'm afraid.
Your talk convince me enough but sold when you play omg beautiful!
Wow, thank you!
Wonderful video! Demo was beautiful. God has given you quite a gift :-)
James Gowan I am thinking that the quality of the playing has more to do with hours of practice rather than the intervention of a mythical being!
The Best Guitar I ever played! Hands Down!!!!!
Wow! some statement.
Have you made the video showing how you set up the multiac with the Roland GR-20 or 55 yet? I bought one and the video would be great...

This one delves into the connections a little more.

Sublime tones
Thank you its such a great fun guitar to play.
Whoa .....do you have the chords/tab to your Still got the Blues backing track?.... ...It's amazing m8
If you want to jump straight to the demo "Still Got The Blues" at 7:08"
I've got one and I can't figure out the volume? The top slider only seems to drastically change the tone.

? Really?

i cant afford the grand concert but te acs slim , i play classical guitar for years like bossa , do you recommend it ?
Not played one myself, but it does look good. If you get the chance to try out it out against other guitars, just to make sure. That would be my best suggestion. Wish you luck!

Hello, I have just bought this instrument sight unseen and the action is very high like 3mm do you know if it can be adjusted with the SA pick ups?
I don't believe so. It would probably require a lowering of the nut end, but be careful as Classical Action should be higher to avoid fret buzz.
@@AndrewKeeping Yeah I know but this is too high. I spoke to the customer assistance department at Godin and had it shimmed. Its perfect now.
I’m a proud owner of one.
Soy de peru donde puedo comprar esta guitarra gudin gran conser
La puedes conseguir en Internet Amazon o eBay

I know it's a better guitar than the Cordoba Stage, but how do those two compare? The Godin costs 3 times more. Is it really 3 times better?
Lovely!!
Thanks so much !
great man, thank you!
You're welcome!

Hello? Nice to meet you. Is there a warranty when purchasing Godin Guitars for the first time?
I would absolutely think so.
Are those nylon strings?

I have various items that I use on my videos on my Amazon page.
Hello ,Prefer SA or Deluxe ?
Deluxe. Just taken charge of my new deluxe. It is simply beautiful and a video will be out soon.
Does it sound (almost) like any nylon guitar without amp as well? I mean If sometime I just want to playing for fun with an acoustic friend player without amp?
It has a semi hollow body so does have a little projection, however, I would not tend to use it for this kind of work, unless i was just practising.
how much
I bought mine for £700 second hand on eBay.
I want to buy one, do you have that one for sale.
I only have my own old one...sorry. i need to upgrade to their latest models i think.
Andrew good morning
do you sell the guitar?
I'm interested
I don't sell it personally, but you can go to my amazon link in the description to buy.

Ha Ha! If only.
Muito bom
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed it.

Nice🙏🙏💯🗡️🗡️🗡️
Thanks
Does he ever shutup? And play?
Do you ever shut up and allow him to explain how he uses it and it's features which was exactly as advertised in the video description?
@@MrMittens1974 do you ever shut up and allow him to express his opinion on how he don't shut up and needs to play?
lol go watch the cover not the review
ha ha!
A flamenco guitar sounds better . Sorry.
Missing the point my guy lol
Ok. A flamenco guitar is a very different instrument for a specific genre. This is not design just for flamenco music. But thanks for your input.
Salesman
I try to just be offering information. I have received no payment for these nor do get any commission from Godin. I wish!!
bla bla bla ....
Sorry Omar, but many have asked for information on this guitar.
