For all the haters, this car has been fully restored. It's one of the cleanest 308 GTB's, after the restoration they put air and special wheels on it.
Fully restored typically means to factory specs, even more so in the Ferrari world. Airbags and those god awful wheels are not factory spec
Those rims and tyre combo cheapn it up
Its not a full restoration if its not all factory parts

For all haters just shut up, you can not push to follow what you want, each person have different taste and style, if you like it, just built it and drive it...
To all the haters saying this 308 is slow. There's a video of it running around some canyon roads and it is NOT moving slow. I love everything but, I would change the rim offset or get a narrower rim of the same kind. And I would install KW coilovers or a set of Ohlins.

How to ruin the handling of a (relatively) low powered car that is/was all about it's handling ability ...
I've never lowered a car and ruined its handling. What's the first thing you do to a car to improve handling? Lower it's ride height. On top of that the car is on air, so it's ride height can be restored with the push of a button without even turning a wrench
@@edjackson4389 There is lowered and then there is stupid lowered, which this car is in the video. For a car to have grip the suspension has to have travel (unless you have huge downforce). Sitting on the bump stops results in a very dangerous and twitch car as the equivalent spring rate is way too high.
Yes this car can be pumped up but why drive it around looking so silly and ineffective? Honestly this modern world of looks cool over function is depressing
Look up how much rear suspension travel a F1 car has. You will be surprised. From memory it is over 120mm's and those car race on the world's smoothest tracks with high profile tyres, so we probably need double
@@psk5746 As I said the car is on air bags. Lower it for show. Raise it back up for go. Air bag suspensions have proven themselves time and time again. They handle great

Actually driving this car is the only way you will ever know if it's crap or incredible. No reason to crap on it before you know. What did you do? Crawl under it and measure the distance between the bumpstops?

Obviously you know a absolutely zero about the handling traits of air bagged cars do you. When was the last hypercar you've ever seen have bags. These cars were built with the pinacle of suspension science using F1 as a test bed. That is why it is so retarded. If you knew anything about caster, camber, anti-dive, roll centers, roll couple and weight transfer maybe you could speak with a base of knowledge. As you think an air bag system that was developed for use in semi trucks is appropriate for a Ferrari!

NONE of the mods on this car are irreversible, and who are any of you to say that the handling of this car has been ruined? Do your research, get your facts straight, get that sand out of your vagina and carry on with your life. Andy Neirinck had the money to build this car, and he made it his own in a very untraditional way. Some of you need to take a step back before you express your opinions on here. There's a big difference in constructive criticism and straight up personal attack. Bunch of sorry ass people out here, who will most likely never afford anything close to this car. Like the style of the wheels the gold mesh with chrome lip but.... 1) the wheel size is too big to maintain sport handling. 2) A staggered setup would look better, same wheels. 3) The stretched tire look is all wrong for this car, kind of cringy... I can appreciate it for a moment but you can pick it apart for a lifetime...
