I have mixed feelings about Aronofsky (based on this movie I'm 100% sure he's never read Moby Dick/The Whale), but Brendan Frazier is one hell of an actor. He is completely believable in this role which must have been really really hard both physically and emotionally
Everybody dies. I defend a person's right to choose how they meet that death. Binge eat, smoke, drink, do drugs, tan too often, etc... Do whatever you want to your own sack of meat. It's the one thing in life you should have complete control over.
