This is such an awesome set. Great playing from all musicians involved. I particularly enjoyed seeing a new element to Jim's playing that I hadn't seen before.
Love this - such different players. Nels with not one but 2 mission control centers and Jim with a Tele and a Princeton. They dwell in the same wheelhouse however, and it sure works well.
Have now heard this between 17- 37 times. It just gets better. Obviously, these 4 musicians in the driver's seat can only get into Overdrive. Being a bicyclist, I don't go there. But I really enjoy listening to how they do it and crank down again. Many thanks, Gentlemen!
Brilliant connection, Steve, to Miles Davis' soundtrack to Jack Johnson. The Jim Campilongo Trio is one of my favorite bands and the Jack Johnson album is one of my favorites. But you just made the connection for me. Thanks! Doug Pratt Atlanta, Georgia, USA

seeing bands like this makes realize why people would choose to live in NYC. makes one think about the score to Jack Johnson. Excellent quartet.
Sonny Sharrock, who Miles didn't credit on the album.

Bass player is crushing it in this

A delicious treat! Many thanks.
This is sooooooo awesome!!!!!
Nels goes wild adjusting all his gadgetry, Jim just keeps his hands on the strings. A great balance.
