I felt like this from time to time but I always saw it as the goal I want to achieve some day. After practicing day after day for years, I can now hit a lot of the stuff he does, I've sat in my car with only an earbud in with just this playing and I'm really happy with where I'm at and I hope others can come to feel the same way and achieve the goal that they have too!
@tiaraguy7705 yeah same! I can even hit some parts of Satellites now, its kind of satisfying when your voice kind of hurts for the rest of the day as well
+MattsRick Hey lads look up _"Satellites Acapella Vocals Only."_ It's available, not as part of a compilation like this but as a complete 7 minute stand alone track. And yes it's just as mind-blowingly incredible as you'd expect. *Especially **3:23** onwards.* Like damn bro, Spencer and the guys sure know how to make a grand exit 😍🤩
NOT in Any way to take away from Spencer s talent.. cause he is a Great, singer...BUT..It's would be VERRY VERY interesting to hear the ISOLATED vox raw, unedited, no vocalign , melodyne, time flex ECT. TRACKS .. no fx ,no comp , no Eq. TUNING!.. no generated harmonys..anyway P1, P3 are epic..cool to hear..
Misha made s comment when he was looking at a demo version of satellites by periphery and he made a comment that Spencer's upper range causes auto tune to go crazy and not work properly so they don't really use much autotune after p2
Look at a bunch of the live studio versions they have, like the Lune one that I think is on Meinl's channel. Spencer is human alright, he can miss timing in a full breath sometimes and might end up with a few weak notes as a result. That's bound to happen when they write complex songs the way they do lol But he's still got ridiculous control and power when it matters. Imo, iolated studio vocals like this is mostly interesting in terms of creativity, how they manage to use all kinds layering and methods make the vocals sit with or stand out from everything else

1:28 MAJESTIC CURRYYYYY
Stop. I can't unhear it.
My favorite metal vocalist by far. These vocal tracks really showcase that crazy range and style.
Hope UA-cam's algorythm soon does justice to this vid.
These are fun to sing along to and get depressed at your singing skills
My thoughts exactly

GOD the vocals in Absolomb are magical!
Hearing harmonies I couldn’t hear as well in the mixes holy shiiiiiit they’re perfect
Spencer's vocals are off the chart
I was never really into metal vocals, but after listening to Reptile I simply couldn't stop listening to the band anymore
I love this dude!
That flatline part chokes me up every fucking time. There's something about that god damn melody. Holy ballsacks
That part of Flatline never gets old
this sounds so eerie. so... empty. im living for it.
Would also love to see 2019 edition of this with some hail stan performances!
suckmyballs I would love to hear reptiles vocals only.

spencer is a great singer no doubt about it but there is so much audible autotune throughout this
Waaaay too many goosebumps
I'm surprised Satellites isn't up here...
Scarlet lol😂
