god dammit. Spencer would absolutely school any modern pop vocalist. he is absolutely insane. high notes for him are cake walks. his harmonies are the icing on top. I can only dream of being such a pure vocalist like him. before I die, I want to meet him and take lessons from him. that is a life wish of mine.
Cody modern pop artists dont even compare, he is so talented.

there's so much extra shit going on in Periphery songs you can barely hear in the final mix that add so much more to the overall sound, hearing this makes me want to add this extra level to my music
Now that you mention it. I had the same reaction when I plugged my Gamboy Advance into my stereo system. You hear at least 2 new voices that you didnt notice before, the counter melody (which in pokemon was always just as interesting as the main) and the bass notes. Added an extra layer of fun that I spent way too much time on as a kid

The orchestral parts on this album are phenomenal, I hope they continue to use them in the future. Maybe even a full song with Spencer/Orchestra ;3

Definitely check out "Catch Fire", "Priestess", and "Lune" if you haven't already! There are some spectacular vocal melodies to be heard in those as well.

Bálint Takács because his voice takes some time to be appreciated and for some people it's apparently easier to hate on him than to actually try and listen.

Tom Weaver Spencer hasn’t used pitch correction since P2 I believe
@@blakewarrens3925 Thats false. He's used it on Jug and PIII, just not to the extent he used it on Self Titled.
For the harmonies it sounds like it might be a lot. Or something to make it sound robotic and synthy. I don’t think he uses all that much though. At least compared to your normal mainstream pop singer. Some of the older albums you can tell he uses none. It’s just off slightly but I like it. Sounds less artificial.
@@13_cmi depending on what type of harmonies you do, it can end up sounding robotic and synthy anyways. Not saying he is or isn't using PC but that's just something to consider as well
