Been in Kristiansand twice, once in the summer and there was so many people there, but temperatures are nice yes... and once in november so it was abit colder but still nice 🙂 I'm from northen Norway so anything warmer than 10 degrees celcius is summertemperature for me. But I liked the city ... have friends living there. Also it is beautiful up in the valleyes there ... love them.
Log slides were common when they started building more hydro power. There are some around the country especially in the south and east where large scale logging was a thing. Not sure if more of them are open to the public though. Some are in pretty poor condition these days. Steinsfossen power station is inside the mountain behind that substation on the other side of the river at the start of the slide. The waterfall I believe is a bypass tunnel of water going from the dam to the power station. Think there is over 100 power stations built like that in Norway. Hidden inside a mountain. We got plenty of mountains here, so why not :)
Definitely a process!! Weird watching yourself. And I didn’t realize I do some weird things until I went back to edit this one. I was laughing at myself! 😄
