Would you say by now the “issues” with the Pan Ams have been figured out? Really could see switching to one of them eventually but the bugs. All the electrical issues and battery issues, etc etc. I really think it’d be an amazing touring bike for everything. Wanna cruise regular dirt country roads all day? Great! Wanna stay on hard top? Great! Thanks! I enjoy your videos!
Thanks for watching brother! Yes, the 2023 and 2024 models do not have the bugs that the 2021 and even 2022’s had. They have figured out the battery and electrical issues and the 23-24’s are good to go!! I wouldn’t hesitate at all to pull the trigger on a new one!
I thought at least at the end you’d do a walk around of the bike. 😔. But no worries still good job if you don’t have extra fig/driving lights I’d recommend that plenty of good content out there for clean installs as well.

I added that same tank bag and wiring harness. I also added a black windshield. I picked up some lights from Denali. Lastly, I got some side panniers, a passenger and rider backrest, and highway pegs from AEEDEA.

@TheSteveFreeman I picked up the T3s for the handguards and rear license plate as well as the D2s and D4s at the front. They all run into the CANsmart module.
Hey Steve, nice vid….Im from South Wales uk and bought a PaS after 17yrs on a Fatboy……I like your mods.
Mines fairly stock so far with the exception of a Givi rear carrier, side support brackets, Givi 25l soft bags and a 12v and usb charger port which I’ve mounted underneath the nose fairing on the bracketry, which I’ve wired to the gerbing style 5mm heated gear plugs. Luckily, I was the same as you and managed to keep the tank in place after removing the plastic panel on the right hand side …the one just behind the headstock. I’d love a new end can, ideally a Jeckel & Hyde but it’s dead pricey in the uk at £2000! For the moment I’ve bought a cheap Ali express Bluetooth headset and although it won’t pair with the bike, it does to my iPhone , which does pair to the bike so I get turn by turn directions and I’m also able to listen to music through the Ali express Bluetooth headset on FM….im a BBC radio fan so all good. Ideally my next purchase will be a Givi hard top case, again I’m still reeling after parting with a bucketload of cash buying the bike on a retirement pension…I miss my Fatboy as it was iconic and customised to my liking over a long period….however the Pas is still a worthy replacement that I’ll enjoy if we get a uk spring/summer this year with a few European trips also planned !
Sounds like you have a great start on some accessories and upgrades for your Paname! I’ve almost pulled the trigger on the Jekyll and Hyde exhaust a few times, but now I’m looking at other offerings the M8 is a great exhaust as well as the Vance and Hines!
