Appreciate all you do to take us along on this trip of a lifetime, Valdez is really special and the hatchery fun to watch...nothing like sea lions and seagulls. Happy as always with your sweet song to close out a special day. Thanks friends. 🐕🐾🐾🐕
Alaska just keeps getting prettier. What an amazing trip and Owen you sound fantastic and have talent for songwriting. You are sitting there singing and playing guitar and just look at the view behind you. WOW. Cheers!!!
Your weekly travel postings have become my peaceful de-stress strategy to get me ready for the week ahead. Owen's calm descriptions and the lovely scenery are a tonic! I got a kick out of how the sign said "Caution" and that "That's just a clue for Lynn to keep goin' ." Our Travato is sitting in the driveway just mocking us because we can't get away during the hot part of the school year. Not enough time to get to the cool weather on weekends so far. You two- keep goin'!
Woo hoo....another great song Owen. You all look pretty calm walking that trail to find a bear.....hope you had the bear spray with you. You should both carry spray. Beautiful video. Thx.
Beautiful! I have only been on the huge Ruth Glacier in Denali National Park. I got to land on it. Spectacular! Don't you just love the color of blue in the melt off of the glaciers? Valdez looks like a great place. It is going on our bucket list for sure. My husband has been on a couple of big salmon fishing trips in Southwest Alaska when we lived in San Francisco. They competed with the bears, but each caught over 100# of salmon, wild spawning from the sea. He only had 50# sent home. We often joked that it was the most expensive salmon we ever ate. It sure was delicious but about 30# in we started giving it away, too much of a good thing. The open mic was great!
Yes, we do love the blue of the glaciers. Valdez was one of favorites, we actually went their twice. Sounds like the fishing trip was a success. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Owen & Lynn Another great video. Watching the sea lion duck under all those seagulls was fun to watch. 7:22 Yep, it's hard to work when you have a view like that! Even though our rig is small, we wouldn't be able to stealth camp. We look like an RV. That's awesome you are able to stealth camp. ~Lucy
The views from the back seat work for me ! I'm normally not a fish eating person, but I would think there people would know many different and delicious ways to cook it. Did you have any shipped back home to family ? And I'm glad that bear scat was as close as you got to the bear that left it behind. As always, I thank you for all your efforts in sharing your journey.
Okay, who’s leading who into trouble? Is Lynn taking Maggie or is it Maggie leading Lynn of the beaten path up a glacier? Neither one looks reluctant t climb ever higher onto the rocks! lol..... Always fun with you three. Be safe and enjoy.
Loved riding along in the back seat! Loved both videos from Valdez and watching you camp in the parking space. Nice! Especially enjoyed Owen’s song at the end. Wow!
Loving your videos! Thx so so much for sharing your adventures! And your musical accompaniment always enjoyable, but the song you performed here was moving. Did you compose?
The song was written by Toussaint McCall. Of course Owen adds own spin to it. It’s one of favorites that he does. So glad you enjoyed it. Thanks so much for watching.
Take one two three .... way to go Lynn. Thanks again for an entertaining video and the music was wonderful as was the scenery. Safe travels to ya! XO ps took the van away for a few days 21.5 mpg. Neil was happy about that and everything worked great. So looking forward to our travels next summer.

We did have bear spray. Thanks for watching and for your kind words.
Beautiful scenery! Lynn remember, you don’t have to outrun the bear, just have to outrun Owen. Just kidding. Looks like a great trip!
She can outrun me for sure. And Maggie can outrun both of us. But I have the bear spray 😂
No words can describe the combination of the beauty of Alaska, the talent of Owen, and the love and companionship of Lynn and Maggie. No words.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate you watching and commenting.
We love being in the back seat. Thanks for the ride.
Glad you are still in the back seat. Thanks so much for following along.

We did not ship any fish home but it looks like a lot people do that. We are glad you are following along in the back seat.
I’m back here and loving every minute. Thanks Lynn and Owen
We are so glad you are riding along.
I’m just putting it out there ! Owen needs to start UA-cam guitar lessons 😁 I’ll subscribe !
That’s a great suggestion. We’ll have to see how could work. Thanks for watching.

Dang Maggie that water got to be cold on them paws.
Maggie seems to love walking around in the water no matter where we are. Thanks for watching.
Another video capturing beauty around you. 🙏🏼💜🐦🌺🐛🐞🦋🐝💙
Thanks you!

Wow! 21.5 is awesome. We are averaging a little over 15mpg for this entire trip. 21 is GREAT. We e are so happy for you two!
Told ya. My favorite as well. The place just rocks. Fishing is a blast by the hatchery as well.
You were right. Thanks for watching.
Been wondering when the opening of the video is gonna have Lynn in the hospital with you ,after an attack with a bear??
We may not seem like it but we are very Bear Aware, so hopefully that beginning will never happen. Thanks for watching.
Y’all are truly inspiring. That was a tough hike. Imagine how many million years old that blue ice is. Did those flies bite? Thanks for the ride.
Yes they would bite if not swatted first. Nasty little booger’s. :-)
I’m back here and loving every minute. Thanks Lynn and Owen
Thanks so much for following along.
