So surprising just how much can be fitted into the size. That is incredible! All the amenities just a little less flash! Still does the job, very utilitarian! Excellent tour, nice job sir!
Great stuff Jack. Fab tour of a fab boat (though your comment regarding the flybridge upholstery '..a little bit cross-channel ferry for my liking...' had me choking on my porridge). Look forward to the drive vid
Would love to see a comparison review between the NordStar, Botnia and the Sargo. Overall I like the Sargo better but I prefer the interior layouts better on some of the smaller boats of the NordStar. The Botnia seems to be more old school with the materials they use. Regardless, would be happy to have a model from any one of them.
Oh a conundrum boat, the smaller targas are so appealing as a jump on and go sort of boat, just get out on the water whenever you feel like it, this one seems a bit big for that buuut.....I really really like this one, so smart. Can't wait to see the test drive. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Nice boat! This is the type of boat I'd buy no matter how much the lottery win was. A boat for people who want to go boating no matter the weather. Although I have a feeling the Sargo 45 might just pip it with a better layout and features. Although no fly on that at the moment.
@@galeriafuentes flybridge is a bit pointless for me, especially on a boat this size. Too much weight up top spoiling the dynamic.of the boat and also I live in Scotland so a fly would get little use with the weather. Different if you lived in sunnier climbs.
I can’t stop wondering what this cool boat would be like with 4 Merc V12’s!! They already have it with a fixed platform 🤔(55+ knots and lots more storage……….LETS GO!!) 🤷♂️ 😅
That's an amazing boat. Perfect boat for the great loop where I'm from in America. The only question is. Does it come with a sea keeper. Great tour thanks Jack
I lioe this a lot. They did a good job. As long as ALL the cabins have access to AC and Heating, it should be OK. Unless you are filming some sort of adventure or survival show on UA-cam, it's not like you'll be in it for more than a few days
A few days? Lol. The people who buy these boats here in the nordics usually spend weeks in the archipelago. Plenty of space in the engine room if you wan't to install an ac. It won't come standard here since it rarely get hot enough to need one.
Just a thought Jack, us big guys, as I'm sure you know, need a big bed so it would be good if you carried a tape measure and gave us an idea of bed widths as it's hard to judge from a video.
Maybe I missed it out but I didn’t see any wall socket 220v or usb type charger 🔌….. but yes this is absolutely top notch in class, way above the others
I am considering comparing this boat with Salgo45. I think both are equally livable. The most important is weather resistance. Which is more stable in rough seas? Which is more durable?
Jack, I assume these are aluminum? or are they GRP? When I compare these with a 45 Galeon with or w/o flybridge, it does seem that you are getting so much more in those designs - for comparable prices or less even. Why is there this impression or misimpression?
I'd prefer the aft cabin too. Not sure why anyone would want to watch TV on a boat like this. You may as well stay home if that's what you intended doing on it.
This one always confused me. Protector boats ALSO makes a line they call "Targa" coming in 30, 33, 38, and 41' lengths. So when i hear talk about Targa, i keep thinking of the Protector version.
@@Yachtbuyer Oye, So we have the Fairline Targa, the Protector Targa, the Botnia Targa, Tracker Targa(tm) ok i don't think they have the right to TM Targa at this point LOL. Just for fun there's also the Tomos Targa, Porsche Targa.
Very iffy. If i was to give up sailing? If I could afford one? If the wife would let me down size the house? This is the kind of boat I would have if I was to convert to a motor yacht, definitely. I must get a lotto ticket tomorrow. Unless someone wants to give me a million for my old Contessa? I would love to see it in the Solent with a bit of wind over tide.😀
Seen this layout before with cramped rear cabin and stupid place to put a TV, about time targa had a rethink of their design and give people more space on a 46foot boat.
It’s crazy to me that the 46 is the only targa with an actual galley area. Even all their competitors figured it out in the smaller boats. What gives??
The galley is smaller in Targa because it is built by real boatusers, competitors are not. On the Targa you can actually use all the space simultaneousley. If you look at the Sargo, you can't use the galley and the aftcabin at the same time, galley is right at the stairs. You can't use the aftcabin and the sofa at the same time when the stairs are under the sofa. It sure looks like Sargo has crammed more into the limited space, problem is it does not work and is not practical. If I were to stay out boating for weeks with the family, I would chose the Targa over the competitors ten times out of ten.
Great tour of one of my favourite boats. That's where my first million would go.
Superb example of substance over style, great boat.
These are fantastic machines. Practical and impervious to any weather I would consider boating in. Great tour, Jack!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great tour Jack! Glad you enjoyed the T46 3 cabin.
So surprising just how much can be fitted into the size. That is incredible! All the amenities just a little less flash! Still does the job, very utilitarian! Excellent tour, nice job sir!
shes an absolute beast. love this boat.
Can`t wait to see this wonderful boat on water🥰🥰🥰

Great tour Jack. Can't wait for the sea test. This and the Sargo 45 are top of my wishlist.
Great boat and top drawer tour, thanks Jack.
Thanks for watching, Keith! - Jack

I love this. I'd take it off for a month or so, just me and my cat.
Well done Jack. Superb tour of my kind of boat. Really enjoying the new channel and keep up the good work!
Will do! Thanks Kieran - Jack
As always interesting, informative, concise. Thanks!

Agree if sargo45 had a fly man

Nicely done Jack.
Thanks! - J
The Teak interior is sublime; but anyone else disappointed with the owners cabin?

My dream small boat❤️❤️❤️
Great review of a great boat. Thanks Jack! Out of interest, do you know if the 3-cabin version is an option on any of the smaller models?
Thanks Matt. I think the 46 is the only three-cabin Targa - Jack

what a fantastic boat... it's a real boat, ready to sail, not a floating house
Hope people don't mistake the cooler with the seat on top for the toilet.

Is there any possibility of reviewing the Nord Star 49?
Great video. Was the hob electric or gas?
Electric on this one but you can have either - Jack
What size Williams would you suggest as a tender?

Does this have a water maker or can you put one in?
I love these boats, I would have the aft cabin as the owners if honest. I would ask for a bigger TV, small things, love the engine space.
I would leave the tv at home, never understood why you want a tv on a boat to be hounest.🙂
I'd prefer the aft cabin too. Not sure why anyone would want to watch TV on a boat like this. You may as well stay home if that's what you intended doing on it.

Sounds like you’re persuading yourself, Ian! A Targa at full chat through a chop is quite the spectacle…
Price vat included?
Yes 👍
No barbecue?

That hidden cabin is great for smuggling.
😊
Referring to something Finnish as Scandinavian is like referring to a Scotsman as being English
🤦♂️
Very odd "stairs" to the flybridge.

cute
Is this a fibreglass or steel hull?

Looks like a sargo
It’s crazy to me that the 46 is the only targa with an actual galley area. Even all their competitors figured it out in the smaller boats. What gives??
On the Targa 37 there is an option to have the galley behind the helmseat, not as big as this but the same idea.
@@Quiet215 Thanks I just saw a review of one showing that.

The blue screen that pops up on screen for absolutely no reason annoys the eye so much I'm done watching.
Targas are for people who have grown up with Axopars and need even more seaworthiness 🌊 🛥️👍🏻
sad you cant get the big targa models, without the horrid flybridge! i cant se the point, in a flybridge. on these kinda boats.
They're a great place to drive this type of boat from in good weather - Jack
There are really alot of Targa 46's built without flybridges. I would recommend watching Remko Sincks full review of a semi custom Targa 46.
Sooo overpriced….
