It's important to recognize a woman's full personality and not focus solely on her physical attributes, even though those can be attractive. As a man, I find sundresses very appealing, even the ones that cover most of the body. True attractiveness lies in a woman's communication, her treatment of others, and her self-confidence. When these elements are in place, a woman's attire becomes secondary, as she can still captivate a man through her words and actions.
I will be one year in October! Your locs have really progressed. GORGEOUS!!❤❤❤
Congrats to your almost one year anniversary! 🥂 Thank you so much! 💕
Your right ❤❤
Love this
...as a man, I must agree. Femininity is very attractive. Women should take note in what you are saying and unleash their true magic power. I am absolutely turned off by any forms of masculinity in a woman. Women wearing men's boots, shoes, pants, suits and shirts. Even walking or talking masculine ...is gut wrenching.
So dam sexy🔥
Atlanta, they have a lot of Imitation females There ...help the Real Natural ones
Like most Asian women..she is right right 👍😊
Love youre locks ,i am 6 monds now with up and down s 😢
Thank you. You will soon be entering a new phase in your locs journey where they’ll be more ups than down. Hang in there 🤗
@@empressneka4013 thank you
Your locs! Look strong & healthy. I am only a little over 8 months in....still waiting... for her to loc! I realize now I have a different texture than I originally thought 😮 therfore it's taking longer than I even assumed .Loving the process indeed. Right now it is super frizzy!! More than ever! But I know that huge part b4 it actually loc's. Feeling free & loving the freedom of loose natural indeed. My texture is thin & fine...& kinky curly! Soft & beautiful! I love it indeed ❤. I do watch a lot of your videos...how is your mom & daughter's journey going?? Thanks for the update! 😊 Beautiful you & your loc's!!
Yes your right love this ❤️
Thank you 🙏🏽
Love your hair it's so beautiful ❤️
Thank you!
Did you have to interlock her hair at a certain point? and if yes could you explain the benefits of interlocking. Love the locs by the way
Hi. Thank you! Yes, I did the interlock on her hair multiple times. For her hair, the benefits were to keep her strands in place, which prevents matting of the hair in the roots. Also, I did it to her hair to close the gap between the loose hair in the roots and the bottom that is starting to lock. This was back in her early stages. I wanted to keep the sections of the hair that is bonded/locking as close to roots as possible. I hope that makes sense. In the first few months of the locs journey, the hair is not fully locked and can unravel. Interlock prevents that. There will also be loose hair strands that are not in any of the locs that you can bond back into a loc via interlock. Another benefit is that you can prevent product buildup by only interlocking since you don’t need products while interlocking. It can also be used to fix/change the parts in your hair.
Love ❤️ it’s looking so good and healthy. Luscious hair
Agreed. Thank you!
You Bort are so Beautiful ❤🎉🎉
You and your Locs are very Beautiful ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I am 4 days in my starter locs!
Yay!!! Congrats! 🍾🎈🎉
Very beautiful! Thanks! And you speak truth about how we as black women do not recognize our incredible beauty!
Thank you! Yes, I’m glad you agree 🤗
Beautiful! ❤
Thank you! 💕
Gm beautiful your locs is looking beautiful do you use aloe plants
Hello, thank you. No, I don’t use that.
Gm how was your experience on dating show and would you do it again 😊 I am watching you from ST.THOMAS US virgin island thumbs up 😊❤
Big up Virgin Island! As you saw in the video, it wasn’t much of an experience since I only went through the partial “onboarding process.” I’m not sure if I would go through the application process again. However, only time can truly tell. Take care.
I just have to ask?? We're they really legit? I don't like the fact that they asked for & inquired all your personal information pics, videos all that & then nothing? Did they say if you don't hear from us by?? Were you compensated for your time wasted?? I am paranoid could it have been a scam?? Just be leary & be careful! Now I sound like a mom! Sorry! Eitherway it sounded exciting but then they just never followed up? Did you try to contact them back to get any answers?? Best wishes! To you Eitherway hun! I'm SURE....you don't have problems meeting men at all...just the right type...of guy/ person!! 😅 ❤ Seek until you find! Personally I'm not seeking...but if it should happen I won't be mad at all. I'm 54 & currently living my best life! Blessed & don't want stress! Peace & luv always! 😅😊❤
Your locs are beautiful! I’m 2 weeks into my loc journey. Do you know how many locs you have?
Thank you! Yay, congrats! I believe it’s 68 locs. I have a video on it.
Sis you are so on point! Being as authentic as possible is the way to go! I don’t mind a little enhancement from time to time but not EVERYDAY!!! You are so right, you will become a slave to whatever that is to make you think that the “fake look” is better than your “natural look.”
Yes sis! You got it, keep shining! 😊
😘😘
Coming along well. Thanks for the update!! I am just a little past 6 months & waiting patiently for hair to finally loc....it is in a slow process! My texture was not what I thought...so it is taking longer!!😮
Thank you 🙏🏽 It’s seems slow but it’s moving along! Once people are able to identify that you’re growing locs, it’s doing something.
Everything you said hit home for me! I'll be 2yrs in September and this really has been a journey to self-love. Still working on being okay with just being my authentic self...
Yes, it’s really a self-love journey. We are absolutely and boldly walking in our truth! That’s one thing that no one can tell us that we’re not doing.
Beautiful mama ❤
Thank you!
Pink oil is the only thing that will moisturize my hair
It gives me the best moisture as well.
I am cocoa shade of foundation and use red 99 % of the time . The other one is a magenta shade . I hate nudes or browns. 😊 I’m a red woman too.
Yesss! Keep working that red! 😌
You both look beautiful. 😍
That’s so nice. Thank you!
It's beautiful ❤️
Thank you!
@@empressneka4013 your welcome ❤️
Yes!! Length...I see. I can't wait until I get length oneday! I'm almost at 4 months in. Still loving the process.
Lol, yes. You will get there sooner than you think! 😊
Shiiiit I’m boutta be 4 months may 10th
I am in May 2 monds Gurney ,and my strogel with frizz.
Yes!! Twins! Two beautiful ladies!!❤😂
Thank you!! 💕🙏🏽☺️
What product (creme) did you use in her starter locs? Her hair looks fabulous.
Thank you! I can’t remember the name of the product I used to start her loc. I believe it’s in the video. I’ll try to find out and let you know.
Her locs are beautiful. Personally I won’t use products that have so many chemicals in them. Looking for more natural alternatives
Thank you. When you find out about natural alternatives, please share.
Your locs look great! Question for you...have you ever thought about using the needle tool?? That latchhook tool can be something else. I remember when I used to get crochet braids they would pull & it would get stuck & it was a lot pulling to get it through. I am only 3 months in the loc game w/ baby locs still considered small? I still hope mine will thicken up more at some point. However my locs on my 1st row in the back kept unraveling & I used the needle tool...they do different sizes too...that may help you too. I did the 2pt. turn/ rotation interlocking on that row & no more unraveling, & they budded 1st. It's been a slow process for me. I am currently experiencing alot frizziness & it does look bushy & just blah...eitherway way i am trying to embrace the process. Congrats to you on this amazing journey for us all...sorry so long! Luv all your videos! 😊❤
Hi 👋🏼 Thank you! Are you talking about the instalock needle? If so, I use it when necessary. I’ve used it to mold and groom my locs, but it won’t help much in the roots where my hair is loose. Congrats on your locs journey! Yes, it’s a slow process until you get to the 4th month. From there, it goes by much quicker. Thank you again! 💖😊
@empressneka4013 Hi, I think it is like the instant lock needle...they have so much stuff now it's crazy.
@@janlee3497 Right lol
So mine 😢
Aww, we’ll get through it 🤗
Giiiiiiiiirl, I can't use oil on my scalp either but will use a little Now fractionated coconut oil on my locs after I wash my hair...
Yes! I learned the hard way. Never again.
Very nice Locs 😊
Yes girl ! Mousse is very lightweight on locs and it provides just the right hold … I use TGIN rose water mousse for my retwist . Mousse is God sent for my retwist . No buildup at all sis !! It won’t disappoint ! ❤
Oil itched the hell of my scalp too ! lol 😂 My scalp don’t like it and your scalp naturally produces it anyway . I didn’t oil my scalp when I was loose natural either tho .
Selena! Hey girl 👋🏼 I just added the product to my cart and will be purchasing. I hope I get the same experience that you get lol. Thank you for sharing! 💖
💋💋💋💋💋💋💋💋
Yes! Been there and done that too! Did not want to show my natural hair from the wig! 😅
Absolutely!
Thanks for this vid, I absolutely love your locs and the input you are giving. I'm starting to think that maybe the over use of oil is why my own scalp is so irrated.
Hi Jeannie! Thank you so much. I really believe it is because I’ve never had scalp irritation until I put all that oil on my scalp. I really appreciate your support. I’m sure your locs are beautiful as well. 😊
You are Beautiful 🤩
Your Locs, I believe, are 🤌🏾💋!
Thank you so much! 😊
Loved it...i was on the edge of my seat! My sis has had locs for yrs. & when i asked her, her loc count she didn't know?? I pressed so much then she became curious. She counted....60' s or 70's range i can't rem. I just started @ the end of Dec. I have baby starter locs...152...when the mature i will recount!! Love your energy!! I am Aquarius too sis!!
Aquarius in the house!! It’s interesting that some people don’t desire to know their locs count. Congrats on your baby locs 🥂. 152? Wow, you must have thick, beautiful hair. Thank you for your positivity and support 🙏🏽😊
@empressneka4013 I have thin low density hair...but hopefully w/ this amount my locs will be full...not really micro more like small? Either I luv them thus far...only hoping for a little more swelling I hope...but right now I luv them!
😂😂😊
Impressive budding stage of Locs😁.
I agree!
💯 great video this is the same vibe I’m on I wasted too many years on the fake stuff, I don’t care who likes it or not my locs are a bs repellent lol
Yaaaasssss! Lol, facts. I love that 😌
Great video! I'm interested to know if you're self taught with crocheting or did you attend a class? I'm interested in learning so I can maintain my locs myself.
Hi, thank you! I’ve seen my mom do it plenty of times. We’re from Jamaica and interlocking is the traditional way to groom the locs. I guess you can say I learned from demonstrations. She didn’t teach me, I just observed and just did the same thing. It’s too easy to do and I’m sure you can as well! Yes, even without attending a class 😌
@@empressneka4013 I would love if you made a demo video 🙏🏿. I’m sure you’re busy but it would be much appreciated. From a 🇭🇹Haitian king to a 🇯🇲Jamaican queen . Blessings
@@GRodPericles Sak pace! Sure, I’ll drop a video very soon 😊 Blessings.
Love It!
Thank you!
First time watching your video, and man, you hit a home run with this one .I started my loc journey in 2022. My hair had thin out from the quick weaves, tight braids, and wigs .So one day I just said enough is enough and started on the path to regain myself and regrow my hair back .I don't have to hide behind those things to feel free and beautiful.
Hi Laura, Welcome to my channel. Yay, to your locs journey! 🥂 Amen to “enough is enough.” You made a bold move and regained yourself. That is so beautiful. Hair extensions damages both the hair and scalp. I’m glad you’re back to you, free, healthier hair, and scalp. Congrats to you!
Ditto! I did the same thing! I was tired of trying to reinvent the wheel (my hair). I’m 13 months in my loc journey and I’m loving everything stage of the process!🥰
