What a great REAL American family they have there.....gives us hope that there will be a future generation that appreciates FAMILY, and traditional values. OUTSTANDING.
Awesome video! Every kid in America should be required to watch this. When I was kid, a family friend was a large animal vet. I spent a lot of time trudging around on the farms of Lancaster PA in rubber boots and jeans getting filthy helping that man work on farm animals. We did births, surgery, vaccinations you name it. It was really cool to have that opportunity. I loved every minute of it and developed a true appreciation for the farming lifestyle. I did not grow up on a farm and I don't have that kind of property now but still envy those people.
The Parents are doing an excellent job of giving a good foundation for being excellent ability in life. I love to see people who wants to raise their children instead of the government. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Amen!!!
Great kids! Very kind and ready to visit with adults and talk about interesting topics. The parents are very right in teaching them the roots and the value of hard work.
I couldn't help but smile the whole time you were with that awesome family. Gives me hope for the future that there are people still raising kids the right way.
Those are some really good kids, that's how it's supposed to be. The dad and mom are doing an amazing job raising their children. I like what you and your wife are doing with the pigs. I also like your approach to raising your animals the way you do. Loved this video, thanks, hope y'all have a great week.
You take extremely good care of your animals and I love to see that. I am so impressed with that young family. They are giving their children the training they need concerning responsibility and accountability. They are also teaching them about the basics of life (the creation and beginning of life) and providing them the foundation for becoming responsible adults. Would that more parents took that approach to child rearing. I love your videos.
I am from a ranching and farming family. I married a man from the same type background. We both worked other side jobs at times but, the country life is the best and the best way to raise children. It really teaches them so much more than just what they learned in public school. And there was always time to go to the lake, BBQs, rodeos (we're Texas people,) sports and friends.
@@donfenton9082 I went to public school and turned out fine, as did all my friends. I strongly support them. "Public school sucks"--real strong arguement.
That family you got the pigs from was a amazing family and the kids are being taught the right way to earn your way in life and they had a really nice farm. Their farm reminded me of your farm and you and Rebecca have done a great job on your farm and have really done well with all aspects of the farm.
Oink, Oink, Oink ..... The Three Little Pigs" is a fable about three pigs who build three houses of different materials. A Big Bad Wolf blows down the first two pigs' houses, made of straw and sticks respectively, but is unable to destroy the third pig's house, made of an old chicken coop by Evan.💕💕💕
Evan the family you got your pigs from are teaching their kids a great work ethic that is priceless. We need more families like that. Thanks for your good videos.
We used to have piglets. When our neighbors bought a few, they build a nice pen and fence. But after 2 days the piglets were everywhere but in the pen. They dug their way out underneith the fence. We found our neighbors chasing the piglets all over place, it was hilarious. Of course we helped catching them, and it's now a great story on birthdays 🙂What an awesome family.
What an all-American rural family. Down to earth and learning about life. There are all-American city families too. I happen to prefer rural. Your piggies will have a good home.
I also will add that kids should be required to subscribe to your channel, with parental permission of course, to learn something about work ethic. You two work constantly to improve your property, homestead, the quality of life for your animals and for yourselves. It is awesome to see and inspiring for many to get out there and get things done!! Me included.
Hello I would have put the pigs in there pen so they get familiar with things then release them the next day but things work either way. Have a good day see you then.
Wow Evan, ya'll really stepping up your game this year. The homestead is looking great! And that family where the pigs came from! So awesome! Keep the videos coming! God Bless!
Great to see this, the childeren work on the farm and do there job. The kid sead, no work no food. That is whrigt. Here in Holland we have a big problem,a lot of farmers hase to end of there farms. The must stop because to muche stikstof in the ground. The wil not stop but Europa said to much farmers and that is not good. But the farmers saying, no farmers no food and thats what it is ,NO FARMERS NO FOOD. I hope that the farmers can stay and do there job . Thanks fore making this film .
I used to be an adjunct instructor at the local community college. The ONLY kids I taught that had any common sense were the boys and girls off of a farm or ranch. Talk about hard workers! They WANTED to learn. great video.
I really enjoy videos like this. Always great seeing families work together. Their dad is teaching them right, we all need to get back to the basics. Our government is telling us different. The best thing to to teach young people today is never rely on government assistance.
We, I used a drill with a dry wall mud mixer to mix water and wheat middlings as a wet feed for pigs. About 2.5 gallons water 💧 and rest wheat middlings the water 💧 helps with digestion and helps keep them hydrated too. When I was younger we used wheat middlings and a 55 gallon drum and it would ferment during the week I use middlings/shorts interchangeable the pigs are always trying to knock you down to get to the feed.
Hey Gang, Pete from "Just A Few Acres Farm " sent us, Great Posting, looking forward to your postings God's Good Blessings to you and your beautiful family keep up the good work
I Guess i was Lucky I Was Raised The Same Way we worked hard even as kids i could drive before i could walk an we milked a cow always had meat hogs & a Beef as a mater of fact my grand paw had about 300- 350 head of hogs back years ago And then the market fell out and he ended up peddling them out here in town on the side of the road i think he still wound up and made money ! thats how most every one was raised around here just until the last generation or so !
Great video so great to see that whole farm family involved. we started out on a farm when I was a kid brought back a lot of great memory's . The little fellow knows his business. Love the motto if you don't work you don't eat.
Just a comment, nothing really to do with this particular video, although it must rate as one of the best ever. But , just in case you have never come across this, fix a standard vehicle tow hitch to the front of one of your tractors or a useful similar truck etc. I spent years moving trailers, towed vehicles of all kinds. Because of the fact that the steering front end moves virtually instantly it is so much easier to reverse anything into a limited space for storage etc.. It is quite easy to make up a universal front towing hitch assembly. My personal favourite was on a medium sized Kubota unit basically used with a grass cutting set up, but was used regularly to push stuff around. Forgive me if you already have such thing. Born and raised on a farm some 80 years really enjoy your videos,if we knew then what you know now.
thx for sharing. All kids should be able to be with farmanimals. Way more respect for them, and they would know that milk come's from Cows and not from a factory ...
Good afternoon guys, what a beautiful family, very nice video to watch, wish they were more like it. Thank you for taking the time to share. Steve from N.B Canada
Great video, was great to see the kids working on their farm. I was raised on a farm, and you were just expected to help out and do your chores. When I look back now (I’m 67) I didn’t miss anything growing up, in fact I probably received more knowledge than others.
Ah the little piggies are adorable. The kids are awesome in doing chores around the farm. They are very helpful around the farm. They are learning at an early age how to take care of the animals. It’s amazing how the kids like the animals and all the chores that go with caring for the animals. Evan, you and Rebekah are doing a fantastic job in raising your own food on your homestead. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Love you guys. Take care and bye for now.
Just like the Anchor Brand Ranch, this farm gets their kids involved in farming, early. Well done, young man ... and young ladies! Yep, like the Apostle Paul I think it was ... He who does not work, let him also not eat. Those kids are precious. I'll just put in my order, now ... for 20 pounds of ribs -- barbecued! And The same, center cut bacon, applewood smoked! THANK you! 🙂
What a great REAL American family they have there.....gives us hope that there will be a future generation that appreciates FAMILY, and traditional values. OUTSTANDING.
i noticed not a single one of those kids had a phone in their hand. awesome family.
Boy aint that the truth ....
Because their parents don't have THEIR faces buried in their phone. Kids aren't the problem as much as old people want to pretend they are.
You don't work you don't eat. More kids need to hear that today. They all think world owes them something....it does not
Wow you don't see that often enough. Wish this world had more parents like that.

What a fantastic, beautiful family you got the piglets from. How blessed you are to find them. From the UK
I couldn't help but smile the whole time you were with that awesome family. Gives me hope for the future that there are people still raising kids the right way.
100% agree !!
Amen to that!

Love the morals these parents are instilling in their children.
Thank you for showing this. Was impressed by those kids, parents should be proud.
Those kids are awesome. This country needs more like them. Raising them right 🇺🇸 💪 👊
Love to see the kids involved! Way to go parents, hope they are home schooled to.
Why?
andy robinson because public school sucks

Awesome! That’s a great family. It’s wonderful to see those farm kids showing everything off. This country needs more farm kids.
Great that they're passing that knowledge on to their children! Those are true farm girls! That young man is very knowledgeable
That young man is full of knowledge. Thanks for sharing that visit.
Those kids are a refreshing view of how to raise super aware kids who know and appreciate where their food comes from .
Great kids!!!Great parents!!!
Wow what nice children. The little guy knows everything about the pigs. Well done to mom and dad
It is great to see the kids working, and learning how to survive, and grow food. I love it
does my heart good to see there are still parents and kids living the farm life.

That young man is already a good farmer...
