good video, Paul. I have the MOLLE buttpack in woodland attached to a MOLLE surplus hydration carrier, using the 2 straps on rear of the MOLLE buttpack. Haven't seen anyone else do this, but it works perfect for a day hike. Keep going, Paul, the Corporal told me of you too! thanks!
@@adaptablesurvivalYes it works great, don't know why nobody has shown this. The outside compression straps on the buttpack will integrate on the bottom row of MOLLE webbing on the front side of the Military surplus hydration carrier. There are lots of types of these hydration carriers, but it works fine on this one.
New subscriber… the corporal sent me here. So far I’ve watched a few of your recent videos and I’m glad I listened to him. Looking forward to more content from you!
Hello from romulus Michigan brother thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise and for taking us on your adventures Sean Kelly over up corpor's corner. Gave you a shout out. I am now a new subscriber and I can't wait too. See all of your videos learn new techniques tips and tricks
Hi, Paul, I just subscribed to your You Tube channel . Shawn Kelly from Corporal's Corner mentioned your channel and recommended following and subscribing to your channel. I appreciate your detailed product description and review. Based on this video (my first viewing) I like the format and content you are providing. Keep up the excellent video production!
Greetings youngin, I was watching the Corporal's latest video and when he gave you a shout out I decided to check you out. You seem to be on the right track there. I like what you've done with the orange and blue CNOK bags. With the two quart canteen cover you can also soak it in water to keep your water even colder. You may not want to if you're carrying it next to your body though. I used to carry mine on my pack most of the time. Just food for thought. Im not sure if you can place a full MRE in the canteen cover but you could definately break it down to individual componets and get it in. I retired from the ARMY befor that cover and that butt pack came into use. I do plan to get one of the newer covers some time to check them out. I'm not sure about the butt pack yet as i realy like the old ones and i have other gear that is similar to it. Anyway, nice video and good luck to you. I'm looking forward to seeing more from you.
The winter canteen is called the Arctic canteen. You can get it with a cover and its own nesting cup if you look around and find one in stock. It's only a 1 quart though. I love that adapter for the canteen, I have been looking for something exactly like that for a while.
I'm guessing I got algo'd over from the Corporal but glad it happened. That's a cool ass adaptor. I generally carry a 2qt and a Sawyer squeeze.. now with some Our Powers Combined ish it's fixing to get awhole lot better 🤘 Edit cause I'm special. It's the Sawyer to Kleen Kanteen adapter?
So I'm out here in the desert, and I take water from sources wherever I can. The reason I prefer the Ziploc type bladder bags, for dirty bags, is because it's a lot easier scooping water out of a very shallow puddles. Sadly out here in the desert we don't have very many water sources, so Beggars can't be choosers LOL.
Corporal Kelly gave you a shout out today. Popping in to say good luck with all your future endeavors! Been subscribes for a bit so not new but wanted to catch up.
You had a great idea to talk a bit about putting something inside your containers. I have seen many people toting an empty pan or pot. I always tuck some items in it. You hear a lot of talk about small space living well your work on this is small space packing... at it's best.
They've (all the instructors who left Pathfinder/DC) been having a petty fucking back and forth with DC since they left. It's been super obvious since the very beginning. They leave comments in eachothers videos taking shots at DC, but none of them seem to have the fucking balls to say something straight up. Always little veiled comments. I dunno what the problem was, or is, but they seem to think that nobody sees what's been going on and how it affects us viewers. It's actually really sad to see, because I've had a lot of respect for each of them, Adaptable Survival, CC, Buckeye Bushcraft, Dirtbound and DC. But with all this childish shit I barely watch or follow anything anymore, and have switched to just watching super small channels of guys who just have fun and enjoy the woods.
nice vidya bruh. dont turn this into a money scam like all the other jootoobers. make a vidya when ya ca, not because you need a buck and have to. dont sell out to the Man

Thanks for another good video.
Thank you!
That is my go to walking or hiking around kit. It works great.
Great kit. I have a couple of the waist packs in ACU camo. Slide my canteen on, and im ready for the day.
Cool adapter. Definitely need to check out his stuff. Thanks for the heads up

Nice shout out to father nomad.
I have the molle butt back on my LCE. I love it. Thanks for sharing.
I would add a mill bag and to that belt I would add one or two sustainment bag
A millbank bag would be perfect. You could add the sustainment pouches, but a little too bulky for me. Solid options tho!
corps sent me, again
Cpl Kelley sent me. Keep up the good work! Checking out your previous work!
I like that father nomad adapter. Will it work with the sawyer mini too? Great video sir!👍👍👍
I don't usually use the Mini, as it gets gunked up quick. But I believe the threads should be the same.
@@adaptablesurvival thanks Paul. I appreciate the info..

Fathernomad makes both. This is the canteen adapter.

100%, I found these openings are so much easier to fill when the water level is shallow.
Nice kit thanks for sharing.

@@adaptablesurvival Definitely. Being able to adapt is key. You can't always carry a set of luggage for sure.

Pretty much same parts of a video Dave put out last week. How original. CC has done the same in his videos.
Did he? Maybe, but not everyone enjoys watching him.

wat kinda snake is hanging in that tree behind you bruh?
It's probably just a branch. All we have are grass snakes in this area.
