If you think this is generic and sounds like any other pop punk song, well TOO BAD. it's Pop Punk it's not supposed to be technical or anything. It is what it is. It's catchy, easy to play, stupid, repetitive and most importantly it is fun, both for the bands and the listeners. This song's awesome, great job WSTR 🤘😂🤘
i like the band(not as much as neck deep) and their songs are usually cleverly written but this one sounds a bit rushed if you will. regardless it’s got a good daytime feel to it and this is one of those songs you just blast when you wanna kick it hahaha
Devin H true. idk what happened to them. i hope if they drop a new album it’ll be halfway decent. it’ll be a shame if a band that dropped two very well written albums suddenly become worthless.
elena burroughs definitely, no hate to Roam I enjoyed listening to I Dont Think I Live There Anymore and Piranha though, but I never thought these bands are gonna put out something different this quick.
@@dudeofdouche its the same with boston manor theyve changed their style of music which i like some of the songs but not all. WSTR have stayed the same throughout. Even though roam have changed how they played it at their headliner was really good. Its so much better listening to it live.
This Is fucking sick, i can't wait for the new album i didn't expect a song so bomb like this, this is way better than She's a god AND the new Green Day song tbh NoW pLaY bReAk StUfF
I was watching this video and then aliens came to my house and we watched it together. They said this music really changed their planets. My parents are so grateful and proud of me. I am too proud to say that this is a cool music wow thanks for sharing.
@ChemicalCheezWhiz击 there's nothing wrong with Oasis, I love Oasis, but there's seem to be a pattern with some Pop-Punk bands going Oasis-like stylistically with their new releases. It's just my opinion.
@CptPappkamerad Exactly right. Loved their ep and RGOI was by far the best album. Identity Crisis was of course different but i loved every track on that album. This on the other hand feels slightly weird, specially Sammy's vocals.
I'll be honest.. I'm only 40 seconds in but I liked WSTR because they held on to the pop punk revival sound and now it seems like they followed the story so far and neck deep by leaning heavily into the pop side. I came for punk with catchy choruses, not this year's shitty clone.. Edit: I stand by everything I said.
Dammit. I love wstr but this sounds too gayish. I want it to be more like.... serious, heavier i guess. And a banger. Just like in the Red, Green, and in between album. But i hope the rest of the album doesn’t disappoint
Aleks Gersh you know what i mean lol. I’m a WSTR FAN ok. I even have a tattoo of them so don’t get mad. It’s just my opinion on this SINGLE. It sounds too funky. I love pop punk that’s like aggressive and melody to it.
The “What am I paying you for?” parts make me so happy for some reason
Parents joke
This shit slaps HARD. Very well put together. The little sounds and ad-libs make it even better and the harmonies are dirty af. Good shit boys
Good to see WSTR still making music
THIS BAND IS SO UNDERRATED AND ITS CRIMINAL!

Better than neck deep lmao
Reminds me of old school Sum 41 on the verse and 2007-2008 pop punk on chorus
this is like the 2000's pop punk, I love it
@@zackargyle7967100% these actually know how song structure works
this is a really nice way of hearing this band experiment a bit, but keep the weird shit coming! like this much more than the other material
Wtf did I just listen to.

This is a really really good song. Catchy, good crafted, just a good tune.
1000% agree.

It's a shame most pop punk bands have just gotten fucking sad and depressing. Pop punk is dead. But WSTR sure as hell isn't.

Instrumentally great & the hook is catchy as hell, the verses are pretty cringey tho 6/10

God damn wstr is underrated. Everything else lately from hopeless is fucking boring as shit compared to this.

Colton Tressler lol
Hewo neck deep?
Absolutely loved the last 2 albums but honestly im not feeling this at all
Was expecting a little more to be honest.. Pretty generic song, the chorus's catchy though.
honestly most of their stuff is fairly generic. they started as a neck deep rip off and ive yet to here anything that stands out particularly
@CptPappkamerad Exactly right.
Loved their ep and RGOI was by far the best album. Identity Crisis was of course different but i loved every track on that album.
This on the other hand feels slightly weird, specially Sammy's vocals.
It's brining back classic pop punk. I'm not complaining when pretty much every other pop punk band has gotten fucking depressing.
Went from having 300k views on a song from RGOI to barely 55k. Changed their sound WAYY too much, sounds awful.

Zach Soyer Lmao! thought the same thing. Just said it how it was.
