The growth and maturity of this band is incredible. And to all happen on the same Label speaks more. Incredible track guys. Trophy Eyes should write a Movie Score. The American Dream almost felt like it should have had a short film added to it.
I love John and the boys so much. The amount of growth they all have displayed in their music is inspiring. They got to the point where they can change their sound, because they want to. They want to make the music they want. I have a lot of nostalgia with old albums such as Chemical Miracle and Mend and Move on, but the emotion in the writing hasn’t changed, only the way he delivers the message. John has changed his solo music as well, and it still can make me cry in the best way possible. Oh, Brother is an anthem I can belt out because it’s so relatable. and that’s why i love John.
Their first two eps and first album were very different. Imagine it like hardcore pop punk?? Or pop punk with raspy vocals. But their last two albums have been similar to this, check them out!
Good for them continuing on the route of this "big sound" they've got going on. The sound really fits these guys. They get better and better! You can hear the "Queen" influence on some parts and some are quite ambient, reminding me this is still Trophy Eyes, reinvented. 🌹
If you told me this is where this band would be when chlorine came out I wouldn’t believe you. This sound change has been incredible and I really vibe. Glad you guys are playing what you want and doing your best
I don’t know what it is about this song but I heard it about a month ago at a hockey game and now it’s been stuck in my head and it is definitely my favorite song right now.
It's not bad, I just wish I could like it as much as their old stuff. Not enough about it really stands out to me in anyway. I like the drums, they remind me of drum and bass music. John's vocals are always good, though not very energetic compared to their other stuff. The synths also aren't bad, and synths can be easy to mess up in this type of music. However, 1:23 sounds like I've heard it 1000 times already, and the sax solo kind of sounded like something that'd be played in a supermarket or an elevator. I'm being hyperbolic of course, but I'm just not really interested in those two parts. Oh well. I'm still excited to hear whatever they release next.
I love this a lot more than the last album but God damn I wish they still sounded like they do on mend move on, not hating this at all its really sound
Not huge on this. I really wish we could have another Chemical Miracle, I would take that style of music over this/American dream every time, even though I liked a few tunes on the American dream.
They fuckin' killed it with this one. Wide open sound, and that bridge is M A S S I V E
Can't wait to hear the next album
especially love the width of the sound too 💛
It lived up to the expectations, I hope you're enjoying it.
The chorus makes me feel every emotion I have

Kait Creates if you like this you’ll really like their first EP
the first ep was nothing like this
Their first two eps and first album were very different. Imagine it like hardcore pop punk?? Or pop punk with raspy vocals. But their last two albums have been similar to this, check them out!

This song has no right to be as much of a bop as it is.

Is that Jeremy on the sax? he is a God! This song is everything and I am all about it.
I love you so much. I'm so happy see this band grow in every way ❤❤
Once again Trophy Eyes never disappoints

Nic3 intro
Sounds like an anime theme song.

Growth shmowth. Chemical miracle is the best shit.
Whatever dude.
Yea nah its aight, wonder who that sax player is actually tho
I love this a lot more than the last album but God damn I wish they still sounded like they do on mend move on, not hating this at all its really sound
but still a good song
why do i get the 1975 vibes in a way 😂
BabyavE that part had me sold
The World Is Quiet Here For Now Aus yeah i like it, it’s just very different from my favorite mend move on trophy eyes haha
I miss the sound from Everything Goes Away. But still, this isn’t bad.
"Visual". Who decided to put white text over a light tan background lol. Cannot see a thing
this really sounds like an avicii song
does anyone miss mend move on era?
I hated The American Dream, but this song almost seems good
what
Not huge on this. I really wish we could have another Chemical Miracle, I would take that style of music over this/American dream every time, even though I liked a few tunes on the American dream.
Eh they haven’t released anything my style since chemical miracle. It’s been nice Trophy Eyes 🙏🏻🙏🏻
This is garbage music 2020 but I swear the janitor at my job would dig it.
Well they used to be a good band that didn't rely on over production. Shit.
Don't know why I bother still checking their new music out. Haven't enjoyed any of it since Chemical Miracle.
I actually think it's terrible. A shame to me, but if it's what they enjoy making, it is what it is.
