The friend passed out as he hit the tree at 68 mph, the driver was found dead in the back seat as the front seat doors crumples and he passed out in the back from his injuries and the smoke, the firefighters put out the fire in 6 minutes, they stayed there for 4 ours to make sure it stayed out when they could have just used sand. This had nothing to do with autopilot and the NITSA put at a statement 2 days ago confirming this story (as Tesla monitories all this data in a “black box” inside the car), autopilot was not involved and at the time of impact both occupants were in the front seat. You are so utterly wrong
The NTSB released their findings from their investigation into that event last week, they ruled it pilot error due to the records from the "black box" of the car, please look it up

You can go listen to a whole family realizing they’re going to die on a 911 call the father made during the terrible event. It’s going faster and faster and no one can do anything but watch in horror. Seat backs peeling off, headliner falling, the window switches popped off. The only place producing Tesla’s 2 years ago was Fremont, and at that point Tesla was not profitable, now they made 1.3 billion in profit last quarter alone and they have 16.2 billion sitting in the bank. Tesla are clear and they are sticking with the minimalist interior as everyone associats that with Tesla, so it won’t work as well for other carmakers. And by the way if you buy a Tesla now they have the same quality as a Mercedes. Just look at Sandy monroes tear down.

Saying Tesla's are a bad car is just objectively a bad take. The thing that Tesla excels at is a car that delivers performance while also being cheaper to maintain and drive therefore you can drive it every single day unlike most cars that deliver performance. Tesla cars also have the highest safety score out of any car and this is due to basic physics- the battery is on the bottom of the car making it very bottom heavy and making it much harder for the car to be tipped over. Complaining about the interior of the car is understandable, but you have to understand that the purpose of a Tesla is not to be this ultra luxury car. The purpose is to be the most technologically advanced manufactured car which it is. Everyone who says Tesla's have QC issues do not understand that other manufacturers have been around for a little under a century where as Tesla has been around for roughly a decade. You simply cannot expect perfect quality out of a company that has been around so much less than every single car company. Most of the QC problems come from cars that were manufactured a couple years ago and Tesla is making a constant effort to improve on their QC issues and do better every single year. Also, Tesla is now the most valued automobile company in the world. Although Tesla's defiantly are not for everyone, saying that it is a bad car which for 40k can give you autopilot, 0-60 in 5 seconds, and can be used as a very affordable daily driver is a really uninformed take as no other car company can currently provide the same thing.
