I think he's got something. Probably not handsome in a conventional sense but he's got more than mere good looks. He has an aura about him. Outstanding as Morse. Preferred him without a beard though.

I never watched Detective Morse before watching Endeavor. I don’t get attached to too many series. But THIS, Endeavor! It’s everything I love. The simpler 60s, the feast for the senses from the opening scene to the end scene. I adore Shaun Evans and all of the characters. When I’m not watching it I think about it. While waiting for season 8 I watched all 7 seasons again and it was no less delightful the second time around. I tried to watch Detective Morse. It lacked the seriousness of Endeavor. I’ll try again, and hope I enjoy it eve half as much as Endeavor. Mind how you go!

I have been watching Inspector Morse after finishing season 9 of Endeavour. I don’t like it as much as the latter( I really wanted to) but I also realized that show is from the 80s and 90s. Morse also lacks the depth that Endeavour has and only scratches the surface. I guess that’s why Endeavour went the route it did in terms of exploring his personal life and what made Morse…well Morse!

Wow. Im so sad that I’m not going to be able to watch this series. This was and is one of the best series I have ever seen. I would cook dinner early so I could watch show without interruptions. Will definitely miss this masterpiece

I Love the way this story was written! It tells the Audience who Inspector Morse was from beginning to the End! I wish I write like that! Creating Character in a book and working on that Character through several books. Giving the Audience a full taste of world inside head! It become Epic/ to capture the Audience’s attention to want more! Blessings! I have seen All of Inspector Morse and loved all the DVDs! Now I trying to see all DVD’s of Endeavour! I absolutely love this show! I love that we can understand Morris and why he was the way he was. Especially his problems with women. I had no idea he had it so bad when he was young. No wonder he drank! He is battling his own demons. He is excellent at his job and they all know it! Best Mystery show ever!!!!

Who got the fact the reporter in series is John Thaw's daughter talking to Morse? I thought they might have made good companions into older age (Inspector Morse). He's just so fun as an Actor. He was in Teachers and Silk and great.
