- Amazon workers at 6 facilities in 3 states walked out on Prime Day. All the workers had previously taken collective action to demand better pay & conditions, but were met with few to no changes. So they staged one of the first coordinated, multi-state walkouts at Amazon.

Good. I don’t care what disruptions occur. I want to see unions and o workers unite in every industry and shut every industry down. This is the only power they have left us. So we must use it.
There is no such thing as "free". Everything has a cost. Maintaining roads and bridges and sewers and electricity and traffic lights right down to the white and yellow lines painted on the highways has a cost. As do the salaries of the people who are employed by City, State and Federal departments across the nation to keep our infrastructure in good repair so that Corporations can move their goods. That is only *one* reason why all corporations should be taxed for the infrastructure they use on a daily basis just like average American taxpayers are. Amazon *knows* that nothing is "free". :D Why ELSE do they charge $139.00 per year per Member Account for "Free Delivery"?

The best thing that Americans can do is to stop buying their products. We are all consumers and if the American people want this to stop than they need to take a stand and refuse to buy these company’s products until they come correct by paying their employees a decent living wage and to stop the mistreatment of their employees. I personally refuse to buy anything from Amazon until they do right by their workers! Who’s with me?!✊🏻
I remember asking Valadeo (a GOP congressman from my area) what he thought about Unions that represent the people. He just said "Companies will pay their employees if they work hard"....

I have been an Amazon warehouse employee for a little over 1 year and 8 months, going on 1 year & 9 Months (I work at the unionized JFK8). I am working on becoming a PA and I will keep on trying to get promotions. Once I get my PA promotion, I will keep going onward forward. I will not let the physical and mental stress take a toll on me.
I hope your channel gets more views. I know it will! As I said before people really do have the power. Regrettably we live in a state of fear. If you want change then you must do it in NUMBERS. The individual cannot survive alone. If one Amazon Warehouse walks out that's a pretty big deal but that can be controlled and those people most likely will loose their jobs. If every person in Amazon Warehouses in North America walked out NO one would loose their job and everyone of those people would get what they want. If every person in North America stopped buying the STUFF they did not need and only buy what they needed their would be NO INFLATION the planet would be in better shape and everyone would be a lot healthier and far more happy. You want change its only possible in numbers. If you want banks and wall street to fail don't invest and take your money out of the bank's and stick in your mattress at home.

If you haven't already. Cancel Prime the most important thing you can do is to cancel prime, it is the engine financially for amazon. Even if you still get things off the website, absolutely do not have a prime account, it is not worth it in a monetary sense which has been proven, Consumer behavior has shown that people end up buying things from amazon that have a prime discount and two day shipping as they think it's saving money, but really it is something they never would have sought out or purchased had it just been there with regular shipping and no prime deal. Really stop buying things from Amazon. I quit in 2015 and it was really not hard at all, but that was 2015 and I know it is getting harder as things consolidate. The only way to prevent them from absorbing all consumer choice is to stop using their service. Tell your friends and families (or show them) what amazon working conditions are like, what the workers have to go through and ask them if two day shipping is worth that, which doesn't even broach other issues like how they dump returns in a landfill for no reason.

Come on. Don't demand a higher wage first. How about having fully employer funded medical, vision, dental, and prescription drug coverage. Employers should make health care like medicaid with a few bonus packages an employee can purchase. Like luxury. But the employer shouldn't take the health care deductibles and premiums out of the employee's paychecks. The employer should fully pay for eyeglasses, co-pays, and services rendered along with no cost prescription drugs. I'm a maga republican libertarian but I stand for medicaid for all. The Bernie Sanders way. Health care is a lot more money than any raise can fix. Worry about Healthcare reform first. Everyone gets sick. Everyone takes one prescription medication or more. Care for the sick and then care for everyone else in some order.
I'd like to point out, if you would like the "Bernie Sanders way" and if you support unions, then there is no way possible for you to be a maga republican.
