He's right, what i want most out of any sports game is customization. What 2K's baseball game had that The Show never had is the ability to do a draft with all active players. I love Super Mega Baseball because of its Shuffle Draft Feature
The show does have that in franchise mode. It's the fantasy draft setting. All active players are thrown into a draft and the draft order is randomized.
Sony San Diego doesn't have exclusive rights to the MLB license for simulation games, they've just had bad experiences with EA & 2K so neither have wanted to take on the venture of rebuilding up a fan base to compete. It's largely why 2K hasn't done a football game and why EA hasn't created a new NBA basketball game.
