I've just bought one of these and thought I'd see how I got on without the armrests. To be honest they aren't necessary. When driving about you don't really use them and when parked up I find it's much more comfy to rest my arms on my lap. I do have nerve compression in my neck though,so lifting my arms onto rests causes more pain anyway. They are expensive machines but they are really solidly built quality bits of kit to be fair. I paid £2900. The price was £3195 but I bartered, it's always worth a try!🥰
I bought a storage unit and found one of these in it. Looks like it’s in great light used shape. Didn’t turn on though hope it will charge and work. These things are expensive too
Stop saying " bit of kit". Some one started that, and it's already run its course- thankfully . Thought i might have have to dive head first off the Empire State Bldg. You are right about this auto fold/ unfold. Take about a gimmick.
The weight capacity Is 19 stone, and I just paid £3000 for one, but on most sites, they were £3195. The accessories are daylight robbery, especially the armrests. You can buy a Mobility Scooter for under a grand, and It comes with armrests, but pay over 3k for this, and you'll need to pay an extra £350 for armrests.
Me neither. It's so frustrating this is not available lighter and easier to open. The engineering is amazing but this costs a massive amount. I am better off paying less to get a folding scooter that opens automatically! And what's more I found a few that are lighter than this that automatically fold. So as a disabled person trying to get it in/out of a car I'm better off financially and health wise to buy a different brand. It's unfortunate as it looks slightly more compact, more stylish and easier for an airport onboard a plane as it splits in two. Other brands don't do that. But I get an automatic folding and lighter scooter for a lot less money... Seems like this company has not quite hit the spot for me. I wish it did because it is the only folding one I can find at 6 mph instead of the slow 4 mph.
And in weight other automatically folding scooters can be less in weight. 25 - 27 kg with battery. This is 29 kg with battery. I couldn't lift an e-bike through the door or over a tiny jerb and thar was 24 kg. Such a shame as I have no freedom to get out without something to aid me, and if I lift something heavy (certainly 24 kgs plus) it makes me more ill - scooters dont give me freedom! I don't have room for one that doesn't fold. The e-bike didn't fold but i couldn't lift something thar weighs less thab this abd lifting into a car boot is more harder as its higher off the ground.

Im only 7 stone 😂 so frustrating as stability isnt as important to someone weighing much more
How mach
£3,195 ouch. Not even auto folding and really heavy
He says 14 miles but the company says 12.5 miles. Obviously this delends on variables, but he cant say more than the company says on the site
