Is this the Future of Mobility Scooters?
Thank you very much Sir. I recently got mine delivered and then discoverd it's so dam heavy and awkward. Well not that heavy really but almost too much for me.. It's been sitting around for nearly 2 weeks and I've been thinking I need help.. But now, weeell.. you explain it so well and it's a simple design so perhaps I can do this myself. Thanks again.
Stop saying " bit of kit". Some one started that, and it's already run its course- thankfully . Thought i might have have to dive head first off the Empire State Bldg. You are right about this auto fold/ unfold. Take about a gimmick.
👍

How do I purchase this scooter?
Depends on your location
Great Video Alan and the team 🙂
Thanks Louise.
Yes you are having a go
Почему не пишите длинну
Really helpful thanks
you are welcome 🙏
My view is that anyone who uses one of these on a public road or footpath is breaking the law, as they are not properly speed restricted & have no automatic breaking system - both of which are required before a vehicle can be classified as a class 3 mobility scooter. If one was involved in a serious accident, the legal repercussions would be harsh. You also should be aware that even though you pay no road tax, if you use a class 3 mobility scooter on the road, you still need to register the vehicle.
Agree
I bought a wheelchair cushion from MD Mobility 06/09/24 it is a (Jay Lowzone Pressure Cushion Switch Yellow) I paid £110.00 ex vat . Looking online I see the same cushion being sold with free shipping from £60 ex vat to £80 ex vat.....It's a nice cushion and I intend to purchase the next range up, which is the Red Gel Switch cushion . Will I purchase from MD Mobility.....???
Hi Just seen this give me a call on 01287635922 and I will check to see what happened.
What kind of scooter is this?
@@lionelkinunwajr5713 Hi Pride apex
Pride. However they all take apart in a similar way.
thing i wonder is if these are made for handicapped people. is there any that are easier for a handicapped person to disassemble. being light etc. My idea is being Independent, not dependent on someone
What areas do you sell to please?
NorthYorkshire and Cleveland
I have the "fastest" name of model, restricted to 8mph, supplier would not supply it with the 15mph speed. I have had it 3 years and had been pretty reliable. The twist grip automatically returns to zero on release and the scooter stops without using the brakes. My only complaint is the turning circle of the 4 wheel fastest is abysmal, no good for shops. For a fun cheap scooter I'd recommend it.
Prix s'il vous plaît
What the hell
Explain
The captain seat on mine is rocking does anyone know how to get the seat off to look at it please
The Superscoota is the very very best scooter you can buy. Absolutely fantastic 👍😁

Thank you so much!

Chi lo produce? Chi lo vende?
I couldn’t understand when he said to make a model does anyone know?
Thank you kindly , very helpful ❤
Not a problem thank you
I bought a Velco one recently...I've named it the Beast . It's beautiful in GB although it has 3 speads the top speed is disabled, if when I was younger I rode a Scooter having a throttle would come naturally for me. But like when you first try to drive a car yes I was kangerooing it, my son had a good laugh at me. I'm 73 but I will keep trying.
Thank you. Very helpful.
The government say one thing, But a Judge in Norfolk hit this on the head by saying after the police where pulling disabled people for these bikes..That he has a car that will do 160 mph, but he sticks to the speed limits, And just because these bikes can do 18 mph doesn't mean that most people will ride at this speed. Case not found and the police where ordered to immediately stop this nonsense. Like a car you can only be pulled if your exceeding the 8mph limit.. end of.
Thank you so much your explanation was very easy and clear to understand 🙌
Thank you for this I brought the same one and mine would tip there were also exposed wiring. I never felt safe on mine. I managed to get a refund as after doing heavy research of this company they are not whom they say there are.
Seem like good chairs and presentation was good but the audio makes watching difficult. As mentioned, otherwise good stuff.
What is the lifespan will it last over 3 years if you look after it well?
Yes it should no problem.
@@AlanGarner-n7s Thanks for replying I am looking to buy one definitely. is it aeroplane friendly, can I travel abroad with 1 of these?
I bought a storage unit and found one of these in it. Looks like it’s in great light used shape. Didn’t turn on though hope it will charge and work. These things are expensive too
🙏👍
Thank you
Can you help me, I’ve got a supasoota, the gold sport, had it about 5 yr with no problem at all, love it, last year it started clicking on the back wheels , just before jumping out of wheel drive, I was on a hill lucky I managed to stay on scooter, I’d gone up this same hill loads of times, so know it was not to steep, I can’t see anywhere this is a problem, so don’t know what to do, I’m to scared to go out on it now, can you please help with any info, kind regards Sharron.
You are correct. These scooters can reach speeds of around 16 mph. This is because that is the maximum speed they can be used in EU countries. There should be a speed limiter built into the machine, so it complies with the maximum 8 mph speed requirements for use on the UK roads and also a switch on the tiller to further limit the speed to 4 mph so the scooter can legally be used on pavements. If someone switches the speed limiter off, then that's their own lookout because you will definitely be speeding on UK roads, and the police can charge you for that and also, in certain instances, take the scooter as well. I found out about this doing research into purchasing a scooter. I hope this helps.
@@jameskenney6533 I have a fastest and the supplier would not supply it unless it was regulated to 8mph
YOU SIT NOT SAVE IN THIS CHAIR AND THE STEERING IS NOT STABLE AND IK CAN NO ITS I HAD FOR ONE YEAR A SCOOZY AND WAS HAPPY DAT I HAD A LEASE VOOR ONE YEAR , I WAS AFFRAID TOT DRIVE IN DE SCOOZY

Hi - do you repair them?
Yes we do
Can I join the club?? I’ll need more than one battery to get to your shop. Glen Fleetwood from Fleetwood but now living in Hemet, CA USA.
I'm with the 'in favour' group. I have difficulty walking, that's all. The speed, twist-grip, hand-brakes are not a problem. There is a magnetic brake, which is useful but not essential for me. If I could get my foot up on the pedal I could still cycle. These faster scoots are a good bike alternative. I can do the same speed (almost - it struggles to get above 15mph) and I can do all the off-road tracks I used to do, providing there are no kissing gates or other width restrictive obstacles. If a horse can get through then so can I. It's too heavy to lift over, same as the horse. I've got 2 lithium batteries on board so have a range of max 40 miles at 15 mph, which is enough. It is infinitely adjustable. I can zoom along or creep along. I don't object to it being referred to as a leisure vehicle. It certainly is that but it is also a mobility scooter. Mine in the Green Power Fastest. These are also known by other names (Veleco Faster, or Luxxon E4800 to name 2) and are made in Taiwan (I think). It has 4 big wheels and muchos ground clearance so can do curbs but not steps. Hills & rough terrain don't frighten it. It loves trips to the pub even when it has to travel 15 miles to get there. It can also pootle around the supermarket at 4 mph or less. If your only disability is walking then it's one of these you need, not a low power, low range, low speed, tiny-wheeled high-price alternative. It doesn't fold though. Finally, I don't lose any sleep at all worrying about what the DVLA think about it all.
I would love one of these, looks like it'll be a lot of fun to ride around on, but at around £10 thousand, it's going to be far too expensive for me unfortunately.
How much is it
NEVER buy or ride a 3 wheel scooter. Find someone on one and ask them to show you their bruises. !
