The conversations that you’re having with your best friends are very good. The one thing that my husband and I agreed upon after we met and started dating is that we would never have the opposite sex in our home without each other being there because that creates problems It doesn’t matter if it’s your best friend or not you never have the opposite sex in your home, for an example if I’m not at home and one of my girlfriends come over she is not allowed in my home and vice versa for my husband’s friend. He’s not allowed in my home unless my husband is there that just open the door for Satan to start things, and we have respected and honored that in the past 20 years of our relationship and marriage, also, if you’re going to meet a friend of yours, then your husband or your wife should be a part of that meeting you should never go without either one. It is disrespectful not only to your partner but to each other I’ve had someone say that well, then you don’t trust him has nothing to do with that. It has to do with our respect and we both have been cheated on before and it was very hurtful And we love the Lord and we want to honor God and what is right to me that is what’s right
I so appreciate that reminder about moving friendships. I recently moved and I've been guilty of comparing and even complaining about where I am now vs. where I moved from. If God is calling me to be here in this new city at this time, I need to embrace it and allow myself to fully see what He has for me here.

Coming from a single, I do think you can have God glorifying friendships with the opposite sex, and I do think that Jesus demonstrates that with Mary & Martha, Mary Magdalene, etc. Watching you guys navigate that when coming together as a couple is good for me to gain some perspective on potential future conversations.

This was really interesting timing in my life, to be listening to these conversations and I found it so fruitful and I know that the Lord has used this video to help many people including myself and my fiancé.
When trust has been broken, it’s almost impossible to regain it, especially when the other person continues to behave in a way that causes you to mistrust.
I know that God can bring about a solution and healing that is the best way and works for the good of all concerned.
It’s amazing how young people can teach us more mature Christians so much.

Fascinating expose' on the nuances of relationship advice. Something I cannot relate to in the past four years.
God says we are to forgive at all times we will never forget, but we have to forgive, and move on in order to heal ourselves. Also, if we have been in a bad relationship before we never take it into a new one, and think that that person is just like the other one you left, and that’s hard as well. Most important thing in relationship to me is trust, honesty, and communication. I believe if you don’t have those things, then you’re not gonna have anything together. What does the Bible say the truth shall find you ouch so if there’s anything that you’re hiding, just get it out in the open, don’t hide it don’t lie about it just talk to the person you’re starting a relationship with about it and hopefully they will understand.

Lol. I didn't click on this one for the fart part of the conversation, but here we are. And been laughing with yall thru it all.
My nephew, 8 years old when he first told us this, says "Boys fart, girls FLUFF. BUT... some girls do fart, like my mom! And some boys fluff... you can tell when their faces turn red, or won't own it" 😅 Im not sure where he got that from or if it's something he made up, but i thought it was perfect. He said "girls don't like to say "fart" and it may embarrass them if we call them our for farting, so we'll just say they fluffed. It's a nicer way to say it." He's 12 now and just as sweet. We still, to this day, use "fluff" for girls, and "fart" for boys, unless they are trying to be heard.. that's always a fart. 😂

I'm laughing so hard right now and thinking of my friend. She had avoided farting all through dating and the first 3 years of marriage. One day her and her husband were on a hike and came to the very steep part in the trail. She was hiking in front of him and she farted in his face! 😅 Moral of the story, she should have gotten this over with a long time ago!
