Such a great build series! This build and the one RRC did has made me cave and snag up my own 748 project bike lol I am itching to get started on it. I can't tell you how much I have learned from this build from how to clean the solenoid, showing off the little throttle switch that helps with a cold starts or even some of the tips on where the best places are to route wires so they don't get burnt up lol Thank you for taking the time to pass on the knowledge, I'll try my best to convey all that I have learned from you in my rebuild. CHEERS!
Thank you. I appreciate that.. I will be building the 916 next year, so that will also go into more detail. But yes, keep the wiring as cool as possible. More heat means more resistance= burning the connectors and insulation 👍
Well you ain't wrong but, is is best to use 10/50 in warmer climates and 10/40 in cooler ones ... I am using 10/40 just to help flush out the engine for the next oil change after 100miles then it should be good to go
That 748 is a thing of beauty, great job as always enjoy watching, would look great next to my 1098s.

15w-50 is the recommended oil you should use in these bikes
