In the movie they even tried to experiment with a monster but the thing woke up because they got to far away and told the queen it's location and then they stormed the place. Well there is something like that in real life. When an ant queen dies, the entire colony will die out soon after (though it's not that fast). However this is only the case with a few ant species, there are others that can just find a new colony or use pheromones to make a larva become a new queen (bees do something similar).
As I understand it, the Queen's death meant death for all of them. Under those circumstances, wouldn't it be prudent to keep her as far away from the actual fighting as possible?
But isn't that a bizarre and unbelievable evolutionary development? The Queen WILL die one day. If not in battle, from a disease, an accident, or old age. And then would all of her minions drop dead in their tracks?
Also the Queen's guards, unlike the workers, have their eyes (their only weak spot) on their heads, not their shoulders. When the guards spread their shield frills their eyes are still exposed on the outside, wonder why nobody had the bright idea to just shoot the guards in the eyes, taking them down one by one until the Queen is exposed, then shoot _her_ in the eye 😂😂😂

The movies was OK. The idea was fine, but a lot more could have being done. The story seems a little boring and the fight scenes could have being way better. The army idea was great. Overall for me this movie is a 6
