- This is a knockdown DJ Façade, able to be packed flat for transport and storage. Base is made of 3/4 in plywood and the top are 2 by 8 southern yellow pine. Looks great with the dark walnut wood stain, and the white paint.
This video was shot in early spring

I really admire your creativity. It is usually easier to make something needlessly complex and then have to figure out how to simplify it to make it work. You have the ability to clearly see the most straightforward path and follow it. The result is elegant simplicity. I'm always happy to see an upload from you because I know it will be creative, beautiful and loaded with random distractions!
Thank you, I appreciate the complement!
LOVE to see that it was actually used!
Great video, Amir
I liked the word that was written on the hearing protectors. "Silencio" means silence in Spanish. Very accurate. Your videos, as always, are great
The only youtube channel all my family adore...
Looks really good! Your Videos are so calm, perfect for sunday evenings :) Please keep continuing your work.
This is so relaxing to watch. I love it.
Ahhhh, just another dose of amir creator therapy 👌👌👌
Underrated! Keep up the good work Amir
Your videos are so good. So simple and elegant. I love the music choice, the angles of the shots, how you manage to fit everything you are doing into the video. I really really like your content!

The “glue drink” almost took me out!! 😂😂😂 Nice build my friend!! 😊
thousand-dollar problem solved in 20$. Great video.
I feel like an expert after watching his vid😌
What are the actual dimensions if you don't mind me asking
I wouldn't be surprised if the next vid you posted was "BUILDING A HOUSE!"
That can FOLD
That bee was just screwing with you
I see what u did there 😜
I’ve been looking for a DIY folding “bar” just like this. Do you sell the plans to this build?
Amazing! Do you have measurements and what the backside looks like? :)
Great work bud I just subscribed
1 question how the top works I see u had some bolts but did not get what u did
Do you have plans I can buy to make this ? Great video
Do you place the dj equipment on it or behind it? Are you able to fit two turntables battle style, mixer and laptop?
The lean and snap got you the sub lmao 🤣
Is there a material list for this? And which router bit did you use?
Do you have the dimensions posted anywhere? Great build!
Love your videos! Any restoration projects on the anvil? :)
Yes! I have a few tool boxes needing restoration
Awesome! Caterers would love a bar like that. What paint and finish did you use? Is that a semi gloss paint with a satin varnish on top?
It was gloss furniture paint, there is a link to both finishes in the description
cool, how do u make it impermeable for a bar, thanks
So this is where Eric Andre gets his desks
I’m going to watch this when I go to sleep,
Keren banget,.. aamiin.. semoga berkah.. aamiin....
Did you consider attaching parallel lengths of wood to the top piece to wedge it into the folding piece? Too bulky?
Was going for simplicity, this way worked well enough
I was planning on building something similar (transportable DJ facade) after a friend posted one that was rented for his wedding gig. I stumbled on your UA-cam video while searching instructional videos. This is almost exactly what I had in mind! (I don't need the top, this will just hide/block a 4' table.)
One question... The pieces at the end (I assume they're 1x1"?), are they flush with the bottom edge of the front and side panels? Or do the panels sit above the ground? Kinda hard to tell from this video. (The grass hides it on the IG pic too.) Thanks in advance and thanks for this video!
Those corners are 2x2s, which actually measure 1.5"x1.5". You can see the bottom better at 5:10
@@bdmayhem3391 Thanks!
Hi can could you give a list of wood and materials used?
Totally far out cheers
En el segundo 20 ya le di a like. Cuandoe pude empezar a mover. Gracias
Any instructions on this?
What are your measurements for this build?
This is fantastic! Thanks for sharing. What's the average cost in material? I am considering buying a premade mobile bar, but like this approach much beter.
It looks like he needed more than one full sheet of plywood for the front and sides. 2 sheets: $150.
I think he got the angled ends of top from the offcuts, so it only took 2 pieces of 2x8. Plus the bits to cover the corners could be a 2x4 ripped in half(ish). Dimensional lumber: $25.
The cost of the moulding really depends on the style and length. A very rough guess is 30 feet in total, with prices ranging from 0.5 to 4 per foot. Let's estimate $40 for moulding.
There are the piano hinges and brackets to consider. Hardware: $25.
Finally, there's stain and paint. It doesn't take much, but they charge a lot for small quantities. We'll call it $35.
That totals $275, so budget $300, assuming you have the tools already. At least a circular saw, drill, and sander. Table saw and miter saw are nice to have, but not absolutely necessary.
I wouldn't expect that you could get this done by a professional for less than $6-800.
@@bdmayhem3391 thanks! I’m finishing my mini bar soon - less than $200… I hope it doesn’t look like less than $200! 😂
You wouldn't finish it without the Carpenter Bee.
im going to slide a tv in the front of mine =)
