Ive been watching you for a few years now. You’re the bees knees. Your flavor palet is so exciting and interesting. You bring so much flavor into the life of your viewers both through your food and personality. I continue to wish you nothing but peace, success, and happiness and thank you for sharing your world with us!
This is video the veggos have all been searching for and what a true gift that it has been delivered by the iconic produce and flavour queen. 👑 Thank you Carla!
Yay Carla!! I’m doing my happy dance right now ❤ vegan here and I’m so excited to make these. With some subs Going vegan I missed cheese and in the summer cottage cheese, tomatoes and basil was my fav.. I now make it with tofu and it is awesome! Lmk if you want the recipe girl! 😊
Wow! I learned "Carla's variations" of three very basic cooking techniques -- using a vegetable peeler "backwards," i.e., peeling toward yourself -- using a microplane "upside down," to corral all the zest in one place -- and grinding black pepper with the top on, to collect all the grinds before adding. Who knew??! Carla did!
My dream salad is one that I could eat every day: Romaine and Kale with Roasted Beets and Butternut Squash, Candied Walnuts and Feta with a Honey Balsamic dressing. 😊😊😊
I tried made the Eggplant recipe for my Mom and she loved it so much. We had some leftover and she asked for that and only that next day for the lunch.
I have been a vegetarian for almost 18 years and this is first vegetarian veggie sandwich I actually want to eat. Also a born and raised Californian and avocado doesn't need to be on everything.
I'm with you on soaking, but one thing to note: The soaking liquid of beans contains phytic acid that has leached into it from the beans, and phytic acid is an antinutrient that prevents the absorption of iron, zinc, and calcium and may promote mineral deficiencies. For me, the whole point of soaking is to reduce the phytic acid content of the beans and improve their nutritional value. While it's not going to kill you to use the same soaking liquid to boil them in, you may get more nutritional benefit from replacing the soaking liquid that contains all that leached phytic acid with fresh water for the boil.
I tried the Humboldt Fog recently, it's delicious. I have their truffle cheese to try next. Definitely quality cheese! Thanks for recommending their products!
i just want to share my salad bar order Broccoli sprouts, Radicchio, walnuts, red onion slices, a mustard dressing, hard boiled egg, thin slices of turnips and pickled carrots on top, either cumin seeds or some other sort of seed sprinkled
I’ve been having escalating dyspepsia from just eating garbage… hot dogs and buns to save money. This is a sign from Goddess I need to get cottage cheese and just eat salad. Cucumbers are really good for inflammation…
Suggestion: save all your vegetable scraps over time, and as you're going, put them in a freezer bag, and when you get a bag, full make homemade vegetable stock. There's nothing like it.
I am not even vegetarian or vegan, but all of these are fantast look delicious and yummy and yes, I love your T-shirt because I am from California. Born and raised San Francisco, California.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈🇮🇹🇲🇽🇵🇷🇸🇻🇺🇲🇨🇦
I have veg sandwich recipe. No pickling involved. No goat cheese, but that might be tried soon. Good quality italian seed bread. DUKES mayo spread on with a several dots of horseradish mustard on it, mixed in it. First layer, Munster cheese. Or whatever you want, but moisture barrier. Sprouts - radish sprouts or mixed sprouts, but the tiny skinny ones. Spread thinly. Ripe avocado slices next. Another thin layer of sprouts. Very thinly sliced red onion. You can use thinly chopped scallions, that is good too. Another thin layer of sprouts. If you are not vegan, some chopped egg here, but can be left out. If you use it, go with another layer of sprouts on top. Thinly sliced tomato, salted on paper towel and let sit to loose some juice. Then layer on the sandwich with more sprouts thinly spread out. If you like you can use some pepperoncini slices somewhere in there somewhere. Before bread but after sprouts, another layer of Munster. Top with the bread twin. Now I need radish sprouts. Oh fwiw, YT is not showing me all your videos, even though I'm subscribed for all. Just a heads up.

Fun energy but 17.5 minutes for the idea of a veggie sammy killed me.
Dingos aren’t vegetarian!
