Thank you for explaining the differences, i was fancying the 53 but never quite got the difference to the 51d. Now i am clear that it is about the bottom box acces. A feature i like. Thank you for providing such a informative video to help me find a Backpack i will be happyily using for years to come.
Thank you for your video, I just received my 66 today and couldn't figure out what was the extra yellow foam at the bottom of the bag for. It's to carry an extra lens, I'm glad I can carry my macro lens in it now. Top notch gear, thank you.
This is such an excellent series of videos showcasing your wonderful camera bags! Really informative... and enticing. As they say, you can never have too many camera bags.
Hi Konrad. They're not designed to be the slickest video productions, but they just the UK team running through the bags in detail, mostly in one take. It's great to hear they're useful. Thank you! The Vanguard Team
I love the design of this bag which divided into 3 compartment. It makes it a friendly travel bag. Love the size of 45D. It small but it can pack lots of stuff. I always travel with my camera bag even if I don't carry my gear. Because they are always designed with easy access to your stuff. I love that the side only opens one side. Makes it safer for travel bag when you don't bring your gear. Overall I really love this design, the flap can be used for jacket etc. and lots of pocket which I love. And it fits my 15inch laptop. Great job with the design. I just wish the color is black. It will make this bag looks slick.
I'm getting one of the Alta Sky 53 backpacks next year after i've come back from Centre Parcs in February, I was going to go for a Tenba Axis 32l that's what i'd planned. But Tenba have now discontinued the original Axis 32l and made the V2 second generation version and now the main compartment for a camera, lenses etc.. is smaller than the first generation Axis 32l backpack. Plus the laptop compartment is smaller on the V2 as well. On the original Axis 32l you could fit a 17" laptop in, now they've made the Axis V2 32l version 2 it can only fit a 16" laptop and not even a deep either. I wanted to fit in my Asus TUF Gaming 17 laptop because that's what I use for photo editing (as well as using it for dj'ing too). It would of fit into the original Axis 32l backpack but won't fir in the new Axis 32l V2 backpack. That's why I had a look around online at other rucksacks I can buy and found the Alta Sky 53. Please Vanguard do us a favour and if you make a version 2 or mkII anytime please don't do what Tenba have done and make it smaller than the original, thanks.

In the bottom compartment of the 45D I can fit my Sigma 150 -500 mm lens with all-around it without a noticeable difference in weight

Don't worry DJ Teknovibe, we won't be making it smaller, and thank you for your support 🙂
