The first time I went, I was there at my appointed time and it took me 5 hours. The last time I went, I went very early and it took me 15 minutes. They do things on a first come first served basis. So if you’re early, you’ll leave early.

Thanks a lot for watching. I used the details I put into my application to do my calculation. I said I was staying for x amount of days, then calculated my hotel booking total, then just added an estimate of what I thought feeding, transportation will cost. Basically an amount that looks reasonable to spend on the trip. I hope this helps.

Yes you have to. They will take a look at your residence permit and hand it over back to you. They will also take your passport as well as other copies you made that are relevant to your application. So you have to take copies and original with you.

I can’t say. Your application just needs to make sense. Accomodation + flight tickets + extra money for the duration of your stay. Enough money to look like it can cover all your expenses

Quick one do I stiil need to fly out through the original schengen country that issued me the visa ?
let me say I applied to visit France and I spent 2 days there and flew to Germany to visit family, is it mandatory I return back to France to leave back to the Uk, will it be an issue returning back to the Uk from Germany ?
No it’s not an issue, you can leave from Germany. They typically don’t ask or care.
All I’ll advise is you plan your trip in such a way that the country you applied to will be your first or last destination just so they can stamp your passport. Other than that, it really doesn’t matter the pattern of your journey. As long as there’s proof you were in the country you applied to (and this is only important incase you want to apply again). You were given a visa for the entire zone so you can enter or leave from any country in the zone.

It took me about 10 days. It typically takes 15 days

I got a date for the next week. It depends on the country. With some, there might be no date and you’ll randomly refresh a couple hours after and an appointment slot will open up.
