Because of the sudden tempo change which throws some people off. There's parts that are good but there are also parts that are too random and comes off so abrupt

@@gotthatg-0215 i imagine that’s what old fogies must have reacted like to Rock n Roll when it was first introduced. Nmixx is making a huge impact, and it’s natural for ppl who can’t think outside the box to react this way.
@@rkhandle this is a good song, but the parts don’t mesh well imo. I was not able to digest the song in the first few tries. I had to find a remix, where some of the parts are switched, and there is an additional repeat of chorus at the end.
It’s more difficult to love a song at the first few times if it’s too chaotic/ loses order and harmony. After streaming some remixes I grew to love the original, but let’s not deny the fact that this is one of the songs that don’t stick immediately to the ears.
SM entertainment has also been doing it before so it’s not an entirely new groundbreaking discovery.

Yes I also felt that the music video was inspired by Alice in Wonderland with colorful setting, the cats, and they are playing a board game with cards,chess and dices. And the beginning is like a magical show/theater performance mixed with a carnival.
I love NMIXX! they are so misunderstood, but being experimental is part of their branding. there's a reason why they're called NMIXX.

exactly! It’s understandable people are on the fence since many are so used to conventional structure but you have to appreciate how talented the girls are and personally it takes time for them to grow on me but I do genuinely like their songs. unfortunately most peoples impressions are based on their first listen and for nmixx that’s usually confusion lol

Nmixx is unique ,thats why they hate it. The more they hate bout this group, the more reasons I love this group 😉. The concept and genre is so unique and full or art.
Okay so NMixx is not only mixing their sounds but also reverse it? hmmm this is getting interesting. I hope they don't change their signature sound because I love it (ps: I'm not a big fan of noisy song btw).
and let's be real, even if they do change it, they will be compared a lot with other groups. so change to the normal sound or keep doing the same signature sound of mixed songs, people will nitpicking them either way, plus their sounds is more unique this way.
and some ppl said other group that also having this "mixed songs" did it better and the transition is really smooth, nah I don't think so. it's just the same and they just love to discredit NMixx.
it's also a fun fact that the album is called "entwurf" which means "draft" in german! so it makes even more sense that they use a lot of different styles in the song c:

i love coming on here and seeing so many positive comments!!! i constantly see negativity around them and it genuinely makes me feel like i'm the only person that is wowed by them. i am SO tired of basic songs and they are so refreshing and WEIRD in the best way possible. and the girls themselves are some of the best 4th gg performers period!! their facial expressions remind me of ateez in the way theyre in character and how passionate they are. i feel like the people who don't like it need to stop hating and just move on. i don't go around hating other groups when i just don't like the music ?? i'm also convinced that if they debuted with the same songs as a boy group they wouldn't be hated as much but what do i know lol

JYP just wanted to go experimental I guess which is good, like having the same thing might be a bit boring for them (like same formula) so it’s good to try different vibes and scenes. I also love the change up and the vocals of Lily and Sullyoon. I wish NMIXX good luck! 🤞 ❤

i almost watched many reactions but you are the only one who pointed out that the beat did reverse after the change up.
Actually the concept is that you are playing a board game with them, in the lyrics they ask you to pick. Oh and btw O.O is one of the dimensions that occurs because of the cards hence why the dominoes turn huge!

tbh JYP did a much better job with this song. Because for O.O i absolutely DIDN'T like it at all. but i absolutely love Dice? Even so it's still experimental. Just better for me at least. Still can't get warm with their debut.
