My ultimate comfort song. I've known it since it came out and it never fails to make me happy and calm for a couple of minutes. I love coming back here after all those years to feel it again.

Same here, I work at Winners/Marshalls and they play it all the time but I couldnt make out a single word of the lyrics. Thank god for Shazaam!

@@LunaZero99 Cool, good to know; I miss England; this California guy was in London and Carlisle in 1986 and 1988. I learned of Alex Winston from a comment under a Pure Bathing Culture video.
So I used to work at Marshalls for about a half a year and this is one of the songs that would jsut play CONSTANTLY and I thought the lyrics were "These are my joy songs" the whole time i worked there and this song was in my recommended videos and now I feel like I can finally die happy

I had a similar experience! I used to work at Macy's and they'd play this at Christmastime - I love quirky-cute pop songs so I instantly fell in love with this and thought it'd be easy to i.d., but only today have I done so (thanx to a kind person on Quora). It's a happy day today! I also didn't hear the lyrix right (tough to do while working at Macy's!) - I thought maybe it was "These are my joy zones". It'z crazy that we both had such similar experiences. It's a wonderful song!

I work at Joann's and they play this song and her song Locomotive. I've dubbed this song "The Hated Song" because for the longest time the "ooh ooh oh" part of it got stuck in my head and I didn't even know the song's name or the artist, no one else did either. It took a friend of mine finding her Locomotive song for me to find this and finally put my brain to rest!

This is the only song I've heard of Alex's. I heard it about a month before the video came up. I thought, by the sound of her music (as overproduced as it is), she was pretty creative. This video has proven me wrong.

Every comment that says "over produced..." is instantly flagged as hipster spam. Get over it... I think it sounds amazing together just like this... maybe you need to turn up the volume on some headphones and notice what those over produced things do to the song to enhance it...
