    Why in the last example when he gets rid of the resistances, he removes the resistance for Voltage source if its the parrallel and for the Current source if it is the Series? I didn't clearly get the idea on why that's the case.

    You could tell the "black boxes" apart using the following method: The box with the voltage source will get hotter when you sort it, while the current source containing box will cool down. (assuming it's an ideal current source)

    This teacher is underrated. Only 60k views? I guess students nowadays are more into memorizing formula rather than understanding the concepts.

    Confused. Why can't V source and I source be the same? Battery,p.s etc provide V and I right? PLUS why do you want to transform in the first place? What application in electronics is this for? Possibly a switched p.s? The high frequency chopped p.s.?

    • @kr3wdog06
      @kr3wdog06 6 років тому +3

      I believe source transformations help simplify the circuit as well as allow you the ability to use one equation in the end to solve for equivalence. It might have a better purpose deeper in circuits. I know some of the info and earlier circuits is merely an introduction. But I believe it's just another way to simplify circuits to get the equivalent resistance etc...

    Never said why though, teach the specifics please. Only saying it’s just ohm’s law. I get it, but explanation always helps.

    At 13:07 pls explain more clearly
    Few amps of current is through resistor and some current through short circuit . But you are telling that total amps will flow through short circuit. Doesn't it violate KCL??

    • @NoOne-ky1er
      @NoOne-ky1er 4 роки тому +1

      No,
      Current chooses the least resistive path.
      But path of short circuit has zero resistance. That's Why all current will flow through it.
