I'm on the fence with this one. I don't think we made it better, just different. What do you think. Would you prefer the classic candy corn or this new crunchy version?
You can’t improve upon perfection! Grew up loving candy corn and still do.
For my taste preference, candy corn that's bought for Halloween needs to be aged until about Valentine's or Easter to reach the proper gritty texture.

I still love candy corn, they used to make it with higher quality honey and things , now it taste fake and a little lack luster in comparison.
You have to stick with Brach’s candy corn. Most others are cheap imitations.

I bought some freeze dried candy corn at a festival and it was super expanded. Probably 5 times the size.
It had to have been prebaked at a higher temp.
I love it!!
If you put it in the oven @ 250*until it gets soft it will expand larger and lighter.
