I would never have thought to dip the leaves in melted beeswax but they turned out beautiful. I especially loved how they were displayed hanging on a branch
I’ve done the first method with crayon chips dispersed around the leaves for added color. Also the first way but cut each leaf out individually after. Going to try beeswax now, thanks for bringing the fun memories and new ideas!
🍂🤗 Thank you SO much for sharing ! Collect/ press leaves every fall but they don't stay🍁 bright - Drying in frig retained color but still curled up so NOW I'm going to wax 🐝
@@sandracroft307 Great question! While I haven’t ever tried it, I would expect acrylics to work!! I will give it a try - if you do, please let me know how it goes!

I am so glad you enjoyed it! We have made wax paper lanterns with the crayon bits too!
@@the_everydayartisan Neat. That’s another one to try out. I have some semi translucent paper that might be a good fit.

Hi! How many blocks of beeswax would you suggest melting? Can I get away with just one?
@@AMoon-xq4ry Great question - I used about one pound of beeswax in a small crockpot. Best wishes and enjoy! 😊
