For the Gorilla Glue method the substrate is supposed to be wet, but not dripping when you put it on and then lightly mist it after you squish it down. You should keep squishing it down every 15-20 min for the first hour. Also it helps a ton if you have some sphag moss and small bark chips mixed with the cocoir. It makes is not so flat.

Someone recommended me to use this glue for hygrolon over the exo terra background. I wanted just to use silicon sealer, what do you say?
I've never used that actually, silicone has never failed me.
