The Broadway played that Connie was starring in ran for over seven months and was a decent hit. It became a movie in 1971 with Sandy Duncan in Connie's role.
Dick Shawn looked so satisfied when the contestants figured out his obscure clues."You're intelligent,"he said--meaning,"you're smart enough to get what I'm inferring." Hilarious.
Dear Connie congratulations on your Bob hope award yes you are a national treasure but more then that on regular of myself and a breath nation you are a great American merry Christmas and have a very happy New year I love you Connie Tim egan Tucson arizona!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺☺
This seemed to be the most uninspired, exasperating week of Allen Ludden’s tenure. So many good clues eluded certain words as did reasonable replies by the guessers. A number of three and four point answers during this week of play. On the bright side, Dick & Connie won a lightning round apiece in this installment.
Given how the TV networks erased video tapes for reuse its very great to see that some episodes of shows like this survive.
Love Connie in orange❤
I have admired Connie Stevens since Hawaiian Eye. Cricket and her pink jeep. The best thing was Susan Slade. I love that movie.
I didn't know she had appeared on Broadway. Good to see this.

Dick's clue for Weary when he attempts to sing the line from ‘Old Man River’ was as obscure as it was fanciful.
You mean it's not a good clue to sing" aaaaahhhhh...."
loved dick shawns raunchy sense of humor.
Les is handsome!
that voice of miss stevens: bizarre
I wish Allen would not talk so much. And repeat every clue. He loved his own voice !
Bingo!
