Christopher Plummer - What Movie Made You Cry?
Starring: Christopher Plummer
I'm crying today, because we just lost him. RIP
😭
me too!!
He's incredibly attractive. I swoon every time I watch "The Sound of Music." Even in his enlarged costume!
me too
I so agree. One of the most beautiful men i've ever seen.
Also because he was so humorous and intelligent. You can see that.
Elegant
Dear Fren Zee, if you liked him in the "Sound of Music", have a look at an old black & white t.v. production, " The Prince and The Pauper" .
1950-'something'....
You will REALLY swoon when you see him in tights...especially when he turns round....ahem...
L.o.l. 😊 Also he and Julie Andrews did a great job in a studio version of " On Golden Pond". Really good.
😊🇬🇧💕🎹😊🥃🇬🇧
Me too! One of the reasons why I keep watching that film!
I absolutely adore Christopher Plummer.
Chris is hilarious. Superb actor. Charming, witty, funny, handsome, great physique, dashing, stylish, elegant, talented, elegant, gentleman, etc....
He's still STUNNING!
“Bless my Homeland Forever!”
Rest in Heavenly peace, Captain
CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER RIP You will be dearly missed .
He will always be Captain Von Trapp to me
I cold spend a good 3 hours just listening to Plummer tell stories abut his amazing career.
Plummer is THE FINEST. Seriously he has been so underrated for so many years
Here we go again 🤦🏻
What a man! What a talent! What a loss! Forever in love with Christopher Plummer. Nova Scotia, Canada
In the 1960s and 70s, this dude would have made a GREAT James Bond! :)
He's definitely got that 'cold and evil' look that only Timothy Dalton had as a James Bond. Connery played 'bad' but Dalton had that really menacing look that even whatsisname, the new guy, doesn't have.Well, I guess not so new anymore.
He also would have made a great Bond villian!
@@mikearchibald744 Check him out as the villain in The Silent Partner, if you haven't seen it yet. He's scary!
he was the most beautiful man ever ..sigh
He's still alive...
I know that :P I never implied he wasn't
Oh, I thought just since you said 'was', my mistake!
Still is! He's gorgeous!
lynnandersonfan Oh sorry, I usually don't regard 80 year olds as beautiful more cute maybe
Plummer has always looked handsome in his elder years even after he starred in the Sound of Music. RIP Plummer (1929-2021).
So classy. A man of class.
He's an absolute legend.
R.I.P. Such an great actor 😔
I've been in love with him ever since I watched The Sound of Music when I was young girl!
Am here due to his passing. Rest in peace, you legend. Goodnight, sweet prince.
He as an amazing voice
incredibly talented and incredibly handsome man, even in this age
R I P Christopher Plummer
What made you cry ?.....a movie he co starred in, Somewhere In Time...broke my bleeding heart.
Gods speed and bless you Sir you WILL be missed
Love that film.
Mr Plummer passed away today
Rest in peace Christopher 🌹😔
Imagine young Chris Plummer as Mr Darcy…somebody catch me 😩😍
The comments say it all ! What a Marvel Von Trapp , he describes the role as '' flogging a dead horse'' and calls it '' The Sound of Mucus '' ... but goodness - what he did to the world with his utterly incredible charming appeal. . . the whole world swooned over your role , and to top it - still looking good. Big thumbs up to a role you weren't fond of... Thank you for years of magic.
brilliant actor
Rest in peace, Christopher. May your legacy bloom and grow forever.
Charming man. 🙂
A man of many talents,in his later years he did "remember"on Netflix.
Love, love, love this man!!!
What a handsome man with a great smile and a great voice!....RIP Chris....We miss u...
that guy could have had no lines in the SOM and he'd still be gorgeous .... he could have stood there and I'd still be in awe of him.... he said boring .... dammm no way .... sexy gorgeous .... dapper .... beautiful ... hell keep going
Everything about him was amazing!
Gorgeous and very talented. Glad he's still here with us.. 😊💕
Rest in eternal peace, good sir.
this guy should have been the most interesting man in the world.
I adore him.
I loved you Christopher Plummer, you were a great actor. RIP
The sound of music made me cry, I was nineteen when watch it for the first time with my dad and mama.
The Royal Hunt of the Sun made me cry when Atahualpa played by Christopher Plummer died. Rest In Peace, sweet prince.
Goodnight sweet prince may flights of angels sing you to your rest.
Still making ladies swoon...
I " ADORE CHRISTOPHER plummer ' he's so Classy, Suave' and Debonair. A Class Act !
Most of you only know him for "Sound of Music," but I saw him on stage as Iago, Macbeth, King Lear and John Barrymore. That, was the real talent of Christopher Plummer.
You were so fortunate to have seen Chris on stage. I would have given my eye teeth to have seen him on stage. His portrayal of Iago was highly praised as the best ever done. Rest In Peace dear Christopher.
This movie THE SOUND OF MUSIC made me cry all the time, because I love them, I love so much this movie, thanks for making this movie and all the beautiful girls and all working together in the movie. Thanks so much. I cried because we lost Liesl, Louisa, and Captain Von Trapp. I like to use their name in the casting in the movie, I love them so much
he's gorgeous even now. he's got a great sence of humour .... wonder what he makes of the Irish and their drinking lol
Wonderful. Absolutely love him.
Whenever I watch sound of music and I see his face I squeal and I’m like he’s glowing !!😂😂
A great actor.
And narrator!
An absolute legend and a beautiful man inside and out ❤
Did he just say that he thinks his Captain Von trapp Character wasn't attractive or interesting at all? LOL HAHAHA! I was and still am, Head over my Fucking Heels for that man!! HAHAHA! I love you Chris Plummer!!
He hates his performance in Sound of Music and he hates that film altogether. Wasnt a surprise to me he said that
Love him. And he had a great fullfilling life till the end. What more can you ask for?
he would definitely get on well with us Irish.... we love our beer... schnapps ... und bier .... love how he says that
He said the bees knees ...he said that 🤘🏻
I'd date this man if I could.
Brilliant as Barrymore!
RIP Captain
There's a film called Triple Cross, it was probably right after The Sound of Music or around that time (60s), and he's absolutely awesome in it. It's kind of an action thriller set in WWII, but it's very good, and fun, and he's incredible (and super handsome!) in it. If you find it, check it out. That said, I think some of his best work has been done in recent years.
I'm so sorry to lose him. I think I knew he was "hot" even at 12 when I saw the Sound of Music! With what masculine grace he could dance the Kindler!! Swoon is the word. An incredibly attractive and talented man! A Life Well Lived! Auf weider sehen!
The Lindler, not Kindler!
Of course, he was lovely as Captain Von Trapp. Aaah Georg!
But that was in 1965 and he did much more important stuff thereafter. I'll always remember him for Lear ( though it's not my favourite play by Will). Love 'The Tempest ', and Christopher Plummer was a terrific Prospero 🌹🌹🌹🌹 🌷
a terrific Prospero 🌹🌹🌹 🌷
The movie that made me cry, The Wind the Shakes the Barley
R.I.P. Christopher Plummer. Great personality and utterly handsome . Specially in his youth of course.
Unforgetable captain fon Trap. R.I.P.
He´s from Montréal. Wow did not know that.
"i think we might even be famous one day" sigh
I think I caught a Tyrone Guthrie reference there. Nice.
He's Canadian? Where the hell have i been?
RIP😢
I cried when the Baroness Elsa Schrader (portrayed by Eleanor Parker) was dumped by the Captain during the balcony scene in "The Sound of Music."
I love him in "the girl with the dragon tattoo." 😊
As a fellow Montrealer I approve this accent.
Funnily enough, he was in the old Pink Panther films with Peter Sellers! Obviously Sound Of Music, A Beautiful Mind, Battle Of Britain(AMAZING movie), among others..
Whys that funny?
That's what I always thought, too - the sarcastic attitude of the Captain balanced the movie, and kept it from becoming too sentimental or superficial. Paradoxically it allowed me to enjoy the sweet moments more, because I felt less manipulated I guess. Plummer may have taken the cynicism a bit far, though - I never really felt the romance, never really believed his love for Maria, and that may have been why. Thankfully, I seem to be alone in that :)
I see Michael Fassbender in his younger years it's terrifying.
Rest easy Herod Antipas ☝️🙏🕊✝️
'.... ze schnapps und za bee-ah!' 😂
Awww, bless you Christopher. Rest well xo
Understated...so Canadian...so missed.
"The schnaPPsss unt ze bieeeeh!"
He looks like an nice guy.
Christopher Plummer you will be missed so very much. Your life and your presence gave the world so much. Thank you, and Rest in Peace. You are in God's House now. ❤
His screentest needs to be longer. he's hilarious and ridiculously talented. The first time I saw him was on the TV show Counterstrike in the early 90s, but as an adult, the first thing that I remember him from is Nicholas Nickelby in wich he plays Nicholas' repulsive uncle. Lately I've only seen him in Girl w dragon tattoo,Beginners & Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus.I have to check out his earlier films. Any suggestions?
Definitely The Sound of Music, then The Return Of Pink Panther, Murder by decree (sherlock holmes), The Man Who Would be King, Triple Cross, Man in the chair, hamlet at elsinore, somewhere in time, and many more
The Duke of Wellington , Waterloo done a good job
Greatest canadian actor 🙁
He is a very talented and strong person. I wonder how in the world he survived to be 91 yrs after drinking, smoking, and partying hard during his lifetime. I wonder if he was drunk when he died because the news says he fell and died of a 'blow in the head'. Wow how sad! But I guess it was a quick death just like he would have wanted it. RIP! I watched the Sound of Music again just because of you and Julie Andrews.
R.I.P. Christopher Plummer, the only P.A.G.A.N. wearing a goat head mask in heaven😎👍
You know something...
michael fassbender in 45 years.
BAD TITLE. He doesn't talk at all about what movies made him cry? Wtf?
He said "Pride and Prejudice", in the beginning of the interview...
@@helenarcarvalho Nope, that was talking about his "first big role".
Great 👌☺️
This is mistitled, where does he say what movie made him cry?
Right at the beginning of the interview.
V12022021. Descanse en Paz Gran Actor Christopher Plummer.
V12022021. Vivira inmortal en sus películas.
V12022021. Perfilado en Arquetipo de Militares. Por su gran portento físico; Interesantentemente unos opuestos a otros.
the man with the gun trying and trying to find his ammunition... 🎷
It's was a Century of Cynicism... And it took no prisoners.
Para mim tbem... Será sempre Cap Von Trapp
I dunno why I always though the was British, but it’s actually Canadian!
Thanks. I'll be sure to hunt that one down.
A brill chap most enjoyable
I love Charles Muntz
