Played Ezio Collection recently. Best out of 3. My defense. This mf, *this GOAT,* was being hanged. Waited for the rope to be tight enough, wrangled his exacuter's neck with the same rope. The the best part which was cut out. He landed from basically 2 stories superhero style. They don't make Main Characters like this anymore.
Yeah, he's the only one that got 3 games and an epilogue story. He'sy favorite too, but if the other protagonists would have been given more than one game, they would be up there too. (Looking at Bayek)

This was not the prime of AC. Revelations was garbage. Brotherhood was a peak. Revelations lowered the bar. Revelations had a good premise and proper hype, but it was a letdown in every way.

Revelations added awesome mechanics that made it a beautiful game: look at the astonishing detail on replicating Istanbul's architecture, the amazing HOOKBLADE! that shit was amazing and I wished that they kept it in AC4, specially with all that rope between sails, it would've made both raiding and exploring easier). The story was shit, that's true... but it was affected to the cancelation of the 3DS game (which events are depicted in this trailer), ACR was supposed to tie every knot between that game and continue the modern day plot into AC3, buuut we got a rushed "prologue" that barely explains anything and it's definitely Ezio's more forgettable adventure. Although, I had the AC embers short movie where we see Ezio's final days. And c'mon man, with a trailer like this is very difficult to meet the expectations of hyped fans.
My opinion during this time ubisoft was starting to become repetitive, AC Revelations honestly wasn't really that great, story was still okay though...i still enjoyed usufs character and enjoy seeing what happened to Altair etc. The story was honestly sad especially when ezio sees Altairs skeleton..AC3 for me was when things started picking back up though
It's funny seeing how, when Ezio decides to walk himself, EVERYONE draws their weapons on him. This dude is about to get hanged, he just lost one of his hidden blades, his hands are bound together, and they all draw their weapons on him. I guess that really does show how badass Ezio is.
Boss waits patiently, Ezio breaks free, all the royal guards pee themselves, main boss calls them off with his right hand, slow dramatic zoom-pan, doesn't faze the hooded man.
I’ve seen this about a hundred times and am just realizing there’s a part where Ezio headbutts a dude who’s wearing a steel helmet. That’s hardcore. Cloth hood beats all.
Let me tell you: words cannot describe the excitement I experienced when I first seen this trailer. The fact that Ezio and Altair were going to be in the same game literally hyped me up to the fullest extent. I love Assassins Creed and it's videos like this that remind of how epic video games used to be.

Exactly like a human reaction when you see something unexpected, you don't appear shocked or surprised at the same moment/second, your brain takes 1-2 seconds to realize. Randomly coming in 2023 can confirm this. Im not even an AC fan but this trailer is probably top 10 best trailers in the gaming industry without a doubt. I remember seeings this live at E3 at the time and just remembering the moment is what makes me come here every single time and that is alot considering I havent played any AC but I do acknowledge what this franchise was for the gaming world.

The scene where Ezio sees Altair was one of the most powerful ones throughout this trilogy, probably the entire franchise, the strongest assassins meets the wisest, truly breathtaking, the game too was wonderful, the Ezio trilogy was a great ride.

Still the best trailer I've ever seen. Man, the broken blade, Masyaf, the fight, the hidden blade, seeing Altair's spirit among the carnage, seeing him again on the platform, the music. Just absolutely sick. The hype at the time was unreal.

I revisit this trailer once every couple years and it always conjures that feelings from when I watched it first. It’s nice when things from your past still live up to that feeling from your past memory.

Funny is, you only need to counterattack once to start the chain of counterattacks. After a counterattack if attack again the character will automatically do the fatality on the closest enemy.
This trailer perfectly captured what it felt like to play as an Assassin in these earlier games. The brute strength, the unshaken will, the superhuman speed, the laser-focus... It was Perfect. ❤

I still remember the first time I saw this. Sitting at an Internet kiosk in a shopping center that isn't there anymore and hasn't been for a long time. Ezio always seemed unkillable, if he failed it was due to some bullshit or hubris on his part but he didn't ever seem in danger. Then the hood gets pulled back and suddenly he's just a man. Then this was just the start of the game.
6 years later and this trailer still gives me goosebumps. Ezio is probably one of the best original video game character ever. The new Assassin's Creed games don't even come close. Thank you Digic Pictures for this beautiful trailer.

Every time I listen to this song, I remember this trailer beat for beat. Arguably the greatest game trailer ever made and it's fitting for the swansong of one of greatest video game characters of all time. I will always hold Ezio's trilogy in the highest regard.

1:16 is my absolute favorite. The way that Ezio fights is so fluid and precise. His focused stoic face shows just how experienced he is. Then he sees Altaïr and the chills continue. Ezio is my absolute favorite assassin, and this video is still the best trailer they've made imo.

Ubisoft is simply running out of ideas, the franchise died long ago but Ubisoft wants to continue the idea of the assassins Creed so they created a whole new version of it (Origins & Odyssey) only because fat fucks decided to criticize Syndicate months before it even came out. What seals this for me is something that may be overlooked by most but to me exemplifies the thought put into this. In the beginning when he gets shot by the arrow, he breaks it off instead of pulling it out. This is the most beneficial thing to do. The internal parts of the arrow are preventing blood loss and the moment its removed, he will start to bleed out and it wud need to be replaced by something to prevent bleeding. This subtle detail seals this for me. This proves ezio is indeed a master assassin with a great amount of knowledge! Not just a fighter. Great production!!!!
Not only that, but the song itself follows the narrative of the image saying ''I'm ready for the fight and fate'' like...he can't start bleeding now, he needs his body to sustain the time of battle, because he knows shit is going to get serious...amazing..everything in this trailer is badass

To this day this trailer still hits hard the music the shots of ezio travelling the lands, Watching ezio go in and kick ass at the age of 52 which shouldn't even be possible but he's doing it, with such skill, I miss the days where assassins creed used to actually feel like assassins creed and was an experience where you could move fight act and kill like an assassin and like with ezio the older he got the deeper his voice got and the more mature he got this was the peak of ubisoft. You can see the main guy in Ac valhalla's trailer is on the ship braving the storm, sees Odin in middle of the battle ( Reminds me a lot of Ezio in Revelation because of his blue robe & thick beard) & gets whooped by a brute before able to kill him.

Ezio's story was by far the best and most fleshed out of them all. My fave of all the assassins.

Funny is, you only need to counterattack once to start the chain of counterattacks. After a counterattack if attack again the character will automatically do the fatality on the closest enemy.

I still remember the first time I saw this. Sitting at an Internet kiosk in a shopping center that isn't there anymore and hasn't been for a long time. Ezio always seemed unkillable, if he failed it was due to some bullshit or hubris on his part but he didn't ever seem in danger. Then the hood gets pulled back and suddenly he's just a man.

Every time I listen to this song, I remember this trailer beat for beat. Arguably the greatest game trailer ever made and it's fitting for the swansong of one of greatest video game characters of all time. I will always hold Ezio's trilogy in the highest regard.

1:16 is my absolute favorite. The way that Ezio fights is so fluid and precise. His focused stoic face shows just how experienced he is. Then he sees Altaïr and the chills continue. Ezio is my absolute favorite assassin, and this video is still the best trailer they've made imo.

What seals this for me is something that may be overlooked by most but to me exemplifies the thought put into this.
In the beginning when he gets shot by the arrow, he breaks it off instead of pulling it out. This is the most beneficial thing to do. The internal parts of the arrow are preventing blood loss and the moment its removed, he will start to bleed out and it wud need to be replaced by something to prevent bleeding.
This subtle detail seals this for me.
This proves ezio is indeed a master assassin with a great amount of knowledge! Not just a fighter.

I just noticed that ac valhalla's trailer has 3 similar scenes from this trailer which is when Ezio is on the ship braving the storm on 0:42, sees the ghost of Altair in middle of the battle on 1:49 & gets whooped first before getting back up on 2:48. You can see the main guy in Ac valhalla's trailer is on the ship braving the storm, sees Odin in middle of the battle ( Reminds me a lot of Ezio in Revelation because of his blue robe & thick beard) & gets whooped by a brute before able to kill him.
