I remember being in primary school and the pain of not owning a console was exacerbated by watching this trailer on tv at the time. It just seemed so epic. A man on a great journey approaching the summit of his journey. How will he return to the ground? Always gives me shivers and I think never actually playing Revelations adds to the allure

Revelations Ezio's cloak is, no doubt, my favorite Assassin's Creed outfit in the entire series. With all the respect Altair deserves... the dark blueish color feels like it's night time in Ezio's life. He's grown so much older, wiser, and became a complete badass veteran. Indeed, this is the best cloak by far due to all that represents for Ezio Auditore.
Man this is still one of the most amazing trailers I’ve ever seen. Used to just watch this over and over again. Love how even though Ezio was aging he still was the deadliest man in any situation. Make no mistake, he would have killed every person there if he hadn’t seen Altaïr.

@@Crazyfreak424 yeah,the mechanics are mostly the same which I’m completely fine with,since it was good already anyways in ACB.But I just loved the way istanbul looked with its warm and colourful world compared to Rome‘s rather tipical for that time lifeless look.Rome in general is a more interesting set place but the fact,that this game and ACR came out in the (no colour = more realtistic) generation just destroyed the visuals for me,where as ACR looks amazing.Idk,maybe it‘s because I played both on my ps3,and we all know how horrible some ubisoft games looked on 7th gen.

Altair, Ezio and Desmond are the GOATs of the entire franchise. There's literally no other protagonist in the franchise that holds up to them.
Its been 11 Years and no one can be better then Ezio Auditore. I know Ezio is just a Game Character but He will always be one of the best Characters ever made. I loved and love his Trilogie. I had so much Awesome Moments in those Games. Thank You Ezio, Requiescat Inpache.

In terms of story arc, this game was the absolute high point for AC franchise and it gave us closure with that Altair-Ezio meetup at the end. Newer versions don't even come close.

Because they don't build up characters this great anymore, the level of attachment was great as you play the game cuz you cared a lot about ezio/altair/Desmond but after that I didn't care about any of the characters I played.

This is still one of the best made trailers, even 10 years later. Ezio is still the GOAT assassin.
He’s the only assassin that they actually gave character development to. Everyone else only got 1 game. If Ubisoft had played their cards right, Bayek could’ve been the next Ezio, fans loved his character enough for it.

1:35 this scene is absolutely chilling
I didn't like the gameplay of Revelations, but the story and the character arc of Ezio was outstanding. His last choices of turning down adventure, of choosing happiness for himself was just so rewarding. It really felt like a journey through his entire life, and the lives of those who came before him.
The song used is called Iron by Woodkid.
Without it this trailer wouldn't be as epic.

Yeah, but with the old hidden blade combat from 2,brotherhood and revelations. Such amazing technique, they nailed it in 3 with the knife and in IV and Rogue it was painfully slow, and 2 swords were a lot faster and deadlier. I finished AC 2,BH and Revelations only with getting armor, never used swords,knifes i had an axe tho because it was super fun to use :D, love the hidden blade combat so much! I played Unity untill sequence 7, i got bored, and now im finishing AC 2 again, BH and Revelations follows, cant get enough of this trilogy, finished it 5 times and still loving it! BlackFlag and 3 were amazing as well, but i didnt like the small story for IV, 3 was uttery hilarious with its bugs and glitches, but other than that great game, unity and syndicate, meh, Unity is full of bugs and my GTX 780 Ti cant even play it with Very High, Syndicate has batman combat, and no hidden blade combat in both :(

Mercy Donato Yeah man I like Ezio alot but Altair was untouchable. His synchronization bar was damaged every time you got hit because he never did except for that one time almualim slapped him and robert threw him away.

That was still the time when AC was at it's height... since 3 it went downhill, only keeping saving it a bit with the Kenway line
