This sad. I knew Grant as a teammate competitor and friend. He was a good person who deserved better. Best wishes to his loved ones and my condolenscenes.

I have early onset symptoms of cte, and am suffering greatly. When Cyndy said her husband had a "bell ringer" and went back to play. That was much of my football career. I played 7-20. And have also had a dozen concussions in the years following, including 2 this year.
I just want some relief. Some actual hands on help to save me from myself and this affliction

Syndy you are 100 percent correct. I believe that I have stage 4 CTE. I was not in sports, I have received 12 concussions. Everyone I had no head protection One series l was unconscious and spent 5 days in the hospital. I have every symptom including the one where you want it to go away and leave you alone one. I would like to talk to you and if you could give my wife some things you have learned.I pray you receive this. It took me over an hour to type this.

As he’d requested in his social media post, Slagle’s brain was sent to the CTE Center at Boston University to be examined.
Zach Slagle was just 31 years old at the time of his death.

It’s 3 years later and they still don’t know much, good luck finding a real neurologist who can help.

I feel for you as a CTE patient myself. There is not much help out there, but you can contact the Concussion Legacy Foundation in Boston. They can help point you in a direction.

Many professional athletes are travelling to foreign nations, like Columbia, for stem cell therapy. Take a look at Chuck Liddell’s story.
