I’m surprised about the TX-6. Out of all of my gear it’s what I use the most. I have tried a larger mixer and it’s great for a dedicated studio but for anyone who travels a lot or doesn’t have a dedicated studio space I think the TX-6 is pretty unbeatable for what it offers at its size.
8:39 so true, I finally got my MPC One to listen to my nanoKONTROL2 so I set up a template and I'm not changing *_anything_* ! I control cutoff and resonance on each submix channel and that's all but it's enough control for me to jam with it.
I’m surprised you’re selling the MPC! I’m getting my first one to compare specifically to the SP404MK2. Trying to make a decision to stick with one or the other.
I'm not. Some people like these simple step sequencer devices. I have some but can't get much of anything from them. The MPC is where I thrive even over my DAWs. I don't get people decorating a musical tool, then not using said tool. Anyone who thinks a SP404 is more capable than a MPC One, I don't know what to say. Different Worlds.
@@matthewgaines10 it seems like the SP404 is just as capable for a lot of things, just with more button combinations and things are harder to get to. I think I might like the MPC a lot, especially because of the synth engines.
Selling the older version of a device when you upgrade, that I can understand. All other reasoning is mostely part of #GAS… it makes you feel good and ‘in-control’. This is why I’ve started to buy decksavers (or alternative cover) AND a case with every synth or module I buy, so they can be travelled with and/or stored separately. It also makes the initial buy more expensive, which is a good thing. The idea to hold on to devices is to fall in love again ever once in a while… what made the device a great purchase at first? All mentioned questions and comparisons should be made upfront, also by not jumping the ‘I want to be one of the first users’ train.
@@el_daniyes, I can see how that influences his personal choices, too. And for the ‘sales’ value that of #Decksaver or other accessories, what do you mean by that?
I totally understand your approach- I’d rather focus on and be super thorough with maybe a few set ups at a time. Besides- still no shortage of gear in this household lol
To a certain degree yes but I’m trying to dip out of this day one influencer world so I’m adapting my channel to maybe focus more energy on set ups, rather then hype day one content. That being said if I’m offered a day one thing and I’m really excited about the gear, I’m all in
The polyend stuff you can safely get rid of and if you decide you want it back you just buy the plus version at this point. But you have the mini, and that will be getting the same software updates as the Tracker+ anyway.
2:56 my MicroFreak is gathering dust because I'm focused on other synths. I'm going to update the firmware and take it on vacation so I have no other choice.
I just bought the OG Digitakt after doing a ton of youtube research. I kinda regret not just saving up for the digitakt 2 but it really wasn't in my budget and I wanted something sooner than later.
I would say that the syntakt's sequencer is more integrated with itself and it has more fluid per step precision with its own parameters - that being said, the Oxi One's sequencer is in my opinion a much more complex and creative sequencer - with several different sequencer modes. It really all depends on what your goal is! A discussion for the community Discord if you're interested in joining: discord.gg/xj8J2xJuBP
Just be yourself my dude. We appreciate you and the videos of different gear over time. You will regret selling the og microfreak. I would be willing to bet money on that. Also, the Keystep 37 should have been on this list lol. ☮️
Hoi Liam. I usually enjoy your content. This time I didn't get to it. I've kinda got to the point with UA-cam content that if there's a 2nd advert before the content starts, I don't watch it. Of course I understand and respect your desire/need to generate income from your channel, but for me, that 2nd pre-content ad is the line in the virtual sand. This was honest content consumer feedback, not me trying to be a dick. I hope it's useful for you.
Hey I appreciate your feedback- we’re at the point where UA-cam chooses where to put ads overtop of where the creator chooses to put ads which is why / how that happens. I do not choose to put two YT ads at the beginning of my videos. I would suggest waiting that extra 5-10 seconds to watch otherwise free / niche / informative content- otherwise you might be missing out on a lot of good stuff! If you want to skip the ads and are watching YT content all the time, you might want to consider paying for premium! I think it’s worth it personally
I sold my Oxi One. A bit square pegs/round holes fo rme - over kill and i struggled to get past 2 bars on it..Fiddly. The TE KO-133 is next to go. I picked up a Sonicware Lofi-12 XT which is far more useful/creative.
I was going to buy a microfreak and a minifreak popped up locally used and I'm very glad it did. it is very versatile like a microkorg or something but with a much better keybed.
Surprised you didn’t leave a link to your reverb page where someone could buy all those toys you’re selling 👀. In any case, other than irig, do you have any recommendations for gear to get sound from a box directly to an iPhone while recording? I hate irig and the cables are fragile af
I agree with most of your choices here - and you also make a great point: This isn't about you hating on any of this gear, it's about where you are at this point in time, and which tools are applicable to that place. I have probably....10 synths and drum machines sitting around me right now that I don't use - BUT... they're sort of on my "never sell" list, and I'm not (emotionally) ready to part with them. A piece of gear I WILL hate on, just a bit, isn't actually a piece of gear, it's a company - and that's Polyend. They burned me alive as one of the people who paid $800 for a first gen Play, and then, 3 weeks later, dropped the plus. The path to upgrade for me would have put that device well over $1000, and that just made me bite my lip. I doubt I'll ever purchase anything else from them. The thing that SURPRISED me the most on your list was the TX-6. I think a lot of your subscribers thought you would hold onto that for years. The only thing that would have surprised me more would have been your 1.4, but I think it'll be a while before you get rid of that. (I'm still strongly considering buying one myself - largely due to your channel.)
Interesting video. I don't really get one thing. If your workflow is to sample instruments and to bring these samples to Abelton... then what for you need OXI One?
Drumlogue is an amazing piece of kit that can sound great, and also has some amazing tools for live performance. The tracker is also great, can work wonders, and I found it one of the most amazing tools to make music with nowadays, plus its performance mode that it doesnt exist anywhere else :)
The Microfreak survived in my setup although quite redundant with some other gear. The reason is I realized it's a very powerful as a compact MIDI/CV controller for other gear, in addition to be an interesting sound engine. My NTS-1mk2, Drumlogue (logueSDK part) or Polyend Tracker mini are very good pairs with the MF.
I support keeping things minimal. The last stuff I bought was Polyend tracker and an opsix. Those 2 things will be enough for me until I die. I don’t really like getting new stuff. I like completely mastering what I have and staying with it.
I agree with you but also can’t suggest that my next approach is minimal - it’s definitely maximal in a way 😅 but very flexible for what I’m trying to accomplish!
Anything that I'm not using I just put away, nowadays. I've always regretted selling stuff and that's from back in the days to this day. I'm keeping what I have and I can change my set up whenever I feel like it. That's just me though. I understand a lot of the reasons why you are getting rid of some of the gear
Touchplate controller for eurorack, with a beast of a synth thrown in? Yeah, I'm team microfreak all the way. Lack of touchplate for more money is a deal breaker for me and the minifreak. Different flavors for different folks. That's cool.
Dawless mindset has always been silly to me. Ok... you don't want organization? You like a large footprint that doesn't translate well to live gigs and saving specific/streamlined instances for quick recall? I could go on... More hardware will not make you a better musician. I use maschine and a S49 keyboard, and the combo does everything needed for full production in a semi-portable package. Ultimately, to each their own 😅
100% ! DAW is just a tool. For a musician to go DAWless is something like to go AXless for a lumberjack or to go SCREWDRIVERless for a technician. Like do it if you want it, but why would you want it in the first place? Maybe it's just a marketing trick from the music tech companies?
Drumlogue : for me it doesn't sound bad at all ! I don't know what people call "thin", lack of low-end ? It just sounds different, and that's the reason I replaced my 8S with it (yes!). The only issue is for the logueSDK there are no direct controls a part of the 4 knobs under the screen while navigating into it, hopefully they will let us assign the other parts' knobs to it.
I have both mini and microfreak. One of the main reasons I keep both is the vocoder on the microfreak. I’m still waiting for the minifreak to add a vocoder…
I totally get it. You have too tear gear now and the budget stuff is not your thing. If I lose the budget stuff I would be morning getting into expensive equipment. I don’t think I could sell the cheap stuff. It’s so much from so little. I collect cheap battery powered gear. Can’t help it. I wouldn’t buy electronics stuff because I don’t like groove boxes. Anyway. You have some really nice synths!
If you have another poly synth, Micro freak is WAY better thank Mini Freak IMO. I would also never suggest it as entry level synth regardless of the price, to someone who hasn't grasped basic skills with subtractive synthesis. Offering all these different oscillators/sound engines , including Noise Engineering trio and Mutable Plaits, MicroFreak is way way more complex than say Uno or smt like that. Also, Digitone vs Volca Fm (factually DX7) - No, Digitone cannot be considered volca Fm on steroids, its other way around. You have entire Dx7 in that small box. If you know FM programming , extra 2 operators and three vs two outputs and more algos on Volca beat Digitone . Digitone is 4 op Fm with very soft sound and multi track sequencer, the other is full on DX 7. I hardly see an overlap, except if you don't want to have more than one FM synth. Even if you find FM programming to be daunting, which I personally love as that was the first synth I ever learnt how to program, you can still get million cartridges from the OG Dx7 into Volca Fm via sysex. Deffo no overlap as Digitone is very modern in design and sound. I have OG DX7, Tx81Z, MegaFm by Twisted Electrons and Digitone, plus a few complex oscillators in modular setup and each of these does different thing.
@@LiamKillen love the content. just want to point out smt you often do, that more expensive gear doesn't mean better - Volca FM 2 is 100 quid little box yet it has full power of 6 OP Fm monster like DX 7, whats more it is compatible with it. So Volca FM is Digitone on steroids (6 vs 4 OPs, more algorytms etc) , not the other way around :)
😐All the reasons that he mentioned why he’s getting rid of that gear is why I don’t buy any of that “type” of gear. You will sooner than later get rid of it for exactly those reasons and more. Even the stuff he kept will be discarded in 24 months or so. In my opinion I find that that type of equipment is distracting, fiddly, and a waste of valuable production time. I also didn’t find it surprising he didn’t like the audio quality of that mixer, especially at that price range. I think that type of gear is gimmicky and way too overpriced for what you get. You can do much more with the proper modernized tools at a similar (if not better) price range. To be clear, I’m not trying to hate or throw shade here. I’m just trying to educate buyers that when buying equipment, make sure you buy gear that has longevity and will serve you today as well as tomorrow. The objective of buying gear is to get.sh!t done, completed and paid for by your client so you can pay your bills and move onto the next project, not to fiddle around in the studio for hours wasting valuable production time. I’m speaking from over 30 years of experience and learned my lesson long time ago so today, I try to stop younger people from making the same mistakes. The only proper gear I saw in this video was Ableton Live, so my suggestion is to buy equipment that will complement Ableton Live and not waste time trying to do something it can do better and much faster. Take from this what you will.✌🏾
I don’t like that you’re speaking for me. I’ve put out videos dedicated to gear that I’ll never get rid of as well. For me, the balance lies somewhere in the middle of hardware + software- it really all depends on what your goals are.
@@LiamKillen I agree with you and your balance and I’m not speaking for you, I’m speaking for me and my experience dealing with new and experience producers. I was basically speaking my option in the comments and at the end I said, “Take from this what you will”. … again absolutely no shade to you or anyone else I’m just sharing my opinion from past experiences.🙏🏾✌🏾🫡
The Mini doesn't fit a backpack and cannot be powered with USB. I sold a Microfreak and then had to buy a new one again and apologize. I've seen you playing outdoors. You've been warned. Obviously just kidding, I absolutely get you with the "opposite of a hoarder". I am right now looking to optimize gear to focus more on the music. 2024 goal.
@@LiamKillen yeaa i was gonna do it to my mpd26 ages ago.. still runs fine under mpc software if it aint broke dont fix it i guess? just got myself a ko2 4 days ago... having a lot of fun sequencing and dumping it into my daw but also as a sample deck while djing in clubs or with homies at bbqs
The sequencer is not so intuitive on MPC-1, no real drag and drop multitrack arrangement screen I believe. Not nearly as easy as a decent DAW or the various multitrack samplers/grooveboxes of lesser price that have easier to manage song creation tools, like Sonicware SmplTrk. Of course these aren't as powerful as the MPC1 but that's even more reason for MPC implement that sort of thing.
@@LiamKillen Hi....I meant for recording and manipulating accurately the stuff. For studio work, of course. Otherwise I like everything analogue and computer free. Computers hinder our creativity :)
Cool video but you should get rid of the beat playing in the background. It's a bad habit. It's mixed so low anyway that it just make a parasite noise to your voice over.
@@LiamKillen No offense meant.. Nothing justify to add background music , imo. Don't know why lot of creators think that what they are saying will be less interesting if they don't add distrcating super low background music... Bad trend, am telling ya.
@@LiamKillen On Arturia's overview page of Minifreak: "37-note velocity-sensitive Slim-key keybed with aftertouch" Is this something different than the Microfreak??
DAWs, virtual instruments, and DAWs' controllers have surpassed their hardware counterparts, by far, making DAWless music production irrelevant (in my opinion). I might never sell my Deluge though, just because it's so easy to carry around and fun play with.
I see your take but i think it really depends on your approach and how you compose music- hardware I still think is really really useful especially for introducing like a live / tactile performance element to your approach.
If you're going to sit there on stage with a computer you might as well press play on an iPod and walk away (most of them are anyway). In my opinion, it's the computer performers who are irrelevant
I think the term "dawless," as it's commonly used today, is a misnomer. 20-30 years ago, most computer DAW users would have sold their left kidney for the portable power of modern MPCs, Deluge, Octatrack, or most other dedicated digital audio production computers. They're all DAWs, just somewhat crippled and lacking a qwerty keyboard or mouse input ...
@@ianzamost5632 Watch any of Beardyman's performances and tell me how that's any less involved or relevant than artists who perform without a Mac or PC based DAW? If anything, PC is far MORE demanding, technical and relevant, as you can customize an insane level of performance controls that just aren't possible with hardware grooveboxes.. Check out his Ableton rig, controlled by 4 iPad Pros with custom Lemur layouts, providing an insane amount of inputs/sliders/macros. YT title: "Studio Secrets with Beardyman" Of course some performers automate their sets more than others, but the point is - you don't have to be hands off.. With a PC, you can add as much granular control as you want. The performer can design the interface and nearly every aspect of how it works.
Has anyone else completely hated Ableton Live? Like, i know its really good. But the learning curve has been so off-putting. Ive got it right there on my desktop bar, pinned, but just dont want to use it. Instead bought 2 OPZs, to stay DAWless. Opinions, comments, any advice welcome on Ableton
ATM many people prefer the OG K.O., instead of the EP-133 (missing features). So I suggest to keep the OG K.O. When EP-133 gets the big, fat firmware update, you can still decide, which K.O. can go.

Yeah it’s still a great piece of kit! I just haven’t been using it
I love my TX-6 and use it no matter in the studio or on the road
Nice streamlining, have you ever used a Pioneer Toraiz SP16 Sampler ?
✌️
I have not!
8:39 so true, I finally got my MPC One to listen to my nanoKONTROL2 so I set up a template and I'm not changing *_anything_* ! I control cutoff and resonance on each submix channel and that's all but it's enough control for me to jam with it.
It’s so finicky!
I’m surprised you’re selling the MPC! I’m getting my first one to compare specifically to the SP404MK2. Trying to make a decision to stick with one or the other.
This video might help lol: ua-cam.com/video/w7N_EX37qds/v-deo.htmlsi=yfT8yW1TcW8qqz_I
He is an influencer: he needs to be one of the first..
On the other hand Decksavers: absolutely great but horrific sale value
@@el_daniyes, I can see how that influences his personal choices, too. And for the ‘sales’ value that of #Decksaver or other accessories, what do you mean by that?
I totally understand your approach- I’d rather focus on and be super thorough with maybe a few set ups at a time. Besides- still no shortage of gear in this household lol
To a certain degree yes but I’m trying to dip out of this day one influencer world so I’m adapting my channel to maybe focus more energy on set ups, rather then hype day one content.
That being said if I’m offered a day one thing and I’m really excited about the gear, I’m all in
Keeping the Tr8s? I noticed they’re $200 off on Amazon. Do you know if they plan on coming out with a new one?

Not thinking about a thing you bought for over a year is like way too long. You are so right about that.
Yeah when youte like “oh yeah I have that” - it might be time for it to go lol
What is you opinion on Tracker+, and would you choose it over the Mini?
I would for sure!
The polyend stuff you can safely get rid of and if you decide you want it back you just buy the plus version at this point. But you have the mini, and that will be getting the same software updates as the Tracker+ anyway.
Yeah you’re 100% right!
Appreciate the video and hearing your reasoning! Related question, do you have any recommendation on where to sell used gear like this?
Local market! If no one bites- reverb / e bay.
If you live in a bigger (ish) city, FB marketplace is the way to go
@@LiamKillen thanks for the reply! 🙏
2:56 my MicroFreak is gathering dust because I'm focused on other synths. I'm going to update the firmware and take it on vacation so I have no other choice.
It is a great portable synth!
Enjoy seeing your more critical takes on devices. Thank you!
Thx for watching!
what's the mixer you're currently using?
Model 1.4 for performance- SSL big six for composition!
I just bought the OG Digitakt after doing a ton of youtube research. I kinda regret not just saving up for the digitakt 2 but it really wasn't in my budget and I wanted something sooner than later.
Digitakt 2 is still a very solid unit!
How would you compare the oxi one sequencer with the Elektron sequencer on the Syntakt for example? Since the Syntakt can sequence midi on any track.
I would say that the syntakt's sequencer is more integrated with itself and it has more fluid per step precision with its own parameters - that being said, the Oxi One's sequencer is in my opinion a much more complex and creative sequencer - with several different sequencer modes.
It really all depends on what your goal is!

Just be yourself my dude. We appreciate you and the videos of different gear over time. You will regret selling the og microfreak. I would be willing to bet money on that. Also, the Keystep 37 should have been on this list lol. ☮️
I like my Keystep! It’s the only keyboard controller I have now 😅
I think it’s worth it personally
seconding @LiamKillen: YT premium is totally worth it, as I watch most of my "TV" on YT
My fav series on UA-cam! (Two episodes make a series right?)
There’s 3 now! So def a series!! Haha
3 is the standard they use for serial killers
Might have missed it, but where are you listing the gear? Thanks!
I’m selling it locally! Reverb takes WAY to big of a cut
Makes sense, hope the sale goes well!
I sold my Oxi One. A bit square pegs/round holes fo rme - over kill and i struggled to get past 2 bars on it..Fiddly. The TE KO-133 is next to go. I picked up a Sonicware Lofi-12 XT which is far more useful/creative.
Yeah I understand that- it’s a lot all at once
I was going to buy a microfreak and a minifreak popped up locally used and I'm very glad it did. it is very versatile like a microkorg or something but with a much better keybed.
Exactly!
Surprised you didn’t leave a link to your reverb page where someone could buy all those toys you’re selling 👀. In any case, other than irig, do you have any recommendations for gear to get sound from a box directly to an iPhone while recording? I hate irig and the cables are fragile af
Reverb takes wayyyy too big of a cut from both ends. I’m
Choosing not to support that ( for the most part) and selling locally.
The polyphonic aftertouch on the microfreak is awesome.
Yeah it lvls it up for sure ! :-)
So will you be doing a video on gear you’re keeping?
Scripted it yesterday!
The only reason I’d get rid of the 1.4 at this point is to pick up the one for those 2 extra channels! 😊
Interesting video. I don't really get one thing. If your workflow is to sample instruments and to bring these samples to Abelton... then what for you need OXI One?
The Oxi one is amazing for creating ideas to sample with. I’m using it like all the time for this sort of approach!
@@LiamKillen Understand... however my weapon of choice for sequencing/sampling/etc is Deluge ;)
Long time fan, would you be able to post a jam on the 33 one last time?
It’s goooone!!
Drumlogue is an amazing piece of kit that can sound great, and also has some amazing tools for live performance.
The tracker is also great, can work wonders, and I found it one of the most amazing tools to make music with nowadays, plus its performance mode that it doesnt exist anywhere else :)
Yeah they’re all great units!
@@LiamKillen indeed ;)
I sold off a lot of gear and I mainly use the Deluge and sp404mk2
All ya need (if it’s all ya need)
The Microfreak survived in my setup although quite redundant with some other gear. The reason is I realized it's a very powerful as a compact MIDI/CV controller for other gear, in addition to be an interesting sound engine. My NTS-1mk2, Drumlogue (logueSDK part) or Polyend Tracker mini are very good pairs with the MF.
Yeah that’s a great set up!
@@LiamKillen MF also happens to be a fun Vocoder on the go 😉
I support keeping things minimal.
Oh I'm jealous with regards to the opsix... Have fun with it!
Anything that I'm not using I just put away, nowadays. I've always regretted selling stuff and that's from back in the days to this day. I'm keeping what I have and I can change my set up whenever I feel like it. That's just me though. I understand a lot of the reasons why you are getting rid of some of the gear
Yeah I reinvested in a bunch of stuff which is why I sold a bunch - i'll def be doing a video on that as well BTW.
Does it spark joy?
To shed some skin? Yeah a little- lol
Touchplate controller for eurorack, with a beast of a synth thrown in? Yeah, I'm team microfreak all the way. Lack of touchplate for more money is a deal breaker for me and the minifreak. Different flavors for different folks. That's cool.
Yeah they each have their fortes depending on your set up!
Recently did same, digi 2 and spmk2 for me, portability and depth.
I recieved the op six mk2 last week and it’s suuuper complex but has basically replaced the Digiton for me.
@@LiamKillen awesome! Love the channel, always interesting new content. 🤙🏻
My MPC Live Mk1 is so buggy, the touchscreen freezes, etc. I go to my SP-404 Mk2 and it's always rock solid.
Totally!!
Let's go!
Exactly! Lol
PLEASE make a motor synth and digitone sample pack.
lots of deep basses
Digitone is gonezo! Maybe motorsynth though! 😊
This is absurdly emotional... Glad your keeping the SP.... But for how long?😮
SP I def will not get rid of unless like a mk3 comes out
Dawless mindset has always been silly to me.
Ok... you don't want organization?
You like a large footprint that doesn't translate well to live gigs and saving specific/streamlined instances for quick recall?
I could go on...
More hardware will not make you a better musician.
I use maschine and a S49 keyboard, and the combo does everything needed for full production in a semi-portable package.
Ultimately, to each their own 😅
I think hardware mixed with software is the most efficient combo personally
100% ! DAW is just a tool. For a musician to go DAWless is something like to go AXless for a lumberjack or to go SCREWDRIVERless for a technician. Like do it if you want it, but why would you want it in the first place? Maybe it's just a marketing trick from the music tech companies?
My MPC LIVE 2 is about to leave me. I've been having more fun with the OP1F, Octatrack, Dirtwave M8 and I just haven't touched it.
Yeah that’s just what happens ! Thx for watching btw 😊
Maybe with an update!
@@LiamKillen yep 🤞what did you mean by “sounds thin” ? The low end ? The wideness ?
Hi Liam,
I hope you're doing well. How are you feeling?
i hope you are better now.

Moving forward and that’s the most important thing 😊
How you getting along with the OT?
I’m mostly just using AR mk2 + Digitakt 2 - they overshadowed it haha
Different worlds. A performance device for me is Roland Fantom, Korg Nautilus, or a Yamaha Montage.
Yeah I’m not super familiar with those ones!
Man, I could never give away my po33, it's just so fun to use and throw in my bag if I'm going on a hike or something
I totally get it !
So I take it the Roland tr6 is still relevant ?
The 6S I think is! I’ve never tried the 6
I love the "It's not you, It's me" intro lol
😅
I'm building my gear myself in order to procrastinate starting to actually make music.
That’s one way of doing it lol
18:33 Is this a reveal of another EP instrument from Native Instruments?
No from TE! I believe they’ll continue the ep series
I have both mini and microfreak. One of the main reasons I keep both is the vocoder on the microfreak. I’m still waiting for the minifreak to add a vocoder…
Yeah that’s true! I didn’t find myself using it much for my thing personally
Thank you! Yeah there’s still a lot you can get from smaller desktop gear though, you’re right
If you have another poly synth, Micro freak is WAY better thank Mini Freak IMO.
It was one of my first synths and it has served me well for years! Thx for the additions here 😊
@@LiamKillen love the content. just want to point out smt you often do, that more expensive gear doesn't mean better - Volca FM 2 is 100 quid little box yet it has full power of 6 OP Fm monster like DX 7, whats more it is compatible with it. So Volca FM is Digitone on steroids (6 vs 4 OPs, more algorytms etc) , not the other way around :)
I’m shocked that the sp404 stayed and the mpc went out the door!
Yeah I just like it better - if I’m gonna DAW I’ll just DAW
Any tips of selling? Dopeblidt and reasons
I’m not clear on the question! Reasons are listed in the video- cheers
You should try pairing the sp404mk2 with an iPad running Koala sampler
I saw they added that w/ update 4.04
@@LiamKillen it’s an amazing app

The Oxi one is WAY more intuitive than the MPC one’s sequencer- like they’re different things for sure but it’s a much more complex sequencer
Nothing beats a DAW, and that s it

The minifreak DOES have aftertouch?????
The microfreak?
@@LiamKillen On Arturia's overview page of Minifreak: "37-note velocity-sensitive Slim-key keybed with aftertouch"
Is this something different than the Microfreak??
YT title: "Studio Secrets with Beardyman"
Of course some performers automate their sets more than others, but the point is - you don't have to be hands off.. With a PC, you can add as much granular control as you want. The performer can design the interface and nearly every aspect of how it works.
