It looks like your friend in Vegas gets his techniques from Paul Fabritz of PJF Performance. I’ve been doing this a bit from Paul’s program, but I would love to see how you would structure a program. I’m curious that you would have a heavy leg day immediately following an explosive plyo day, but just once a week. I have to say, I kinda feel better when I reduce my heavy lifting.
Yea he and I have both learned from PFF among others. There are a lot of good ways to structure training.

Would you recommend to do the overspeed jumping on the same days as underspeed? Or different days
For someone who has never done any form of Plyo or jump training, how long do you think it’d take to add 6-8 inches of vertical?
A 1-2 inch increase per 4-12 weeks of training is pretty typical. On the higher end with a good program and good consistency of training.
Sir, What will happen if I only trains the overspeed part? I wanna focus on training my stretch shortening cycle to improve ground contact time. How should i do it sir? Should I focus on overspeed more?
How would you progressively overload these with athletes going into preseason and inseason. What variable would you change to overload. Is an overload even necessary for explosive vertical jumps?
This is actually a really good technique to use in season since it's low volume and very specific to improving power creation at bodyweight. I would probably alternate between phases of low volume power for peaking and higher volume strength/power maintenance throughout the season. To progress a maintenance phase you can increase intensity and/or volume week to week. For the power phase I would probably taper volume down.
Thank you for the answer. What would be an example of progressing the overspeed and underspeed exercise in the video. More or less than 10% of body weight should not be used right? And volume should rather decrease inseason with intensity going up

How does he have the band wrapped around his chest and hooked too a bar at the same time? It looks like it’s hard too do. Is it? I have a big orange band, can you use that? Idk if it will be long enough or if it can stretch long enough. What kind of band you use for that jump.
