Yeah… it could just be funny to her. I know some of my friends were not nearly as concerned about what happens to their hair as I am. Like one time as a prank, my friends took my beautiful black long haired cat and shaved his hair into a stupid poodle cut and he was pissed. Which made me pissed. I don’t think they hated me or anything. They were trying to joke around and chose something that went over my lines. It happens. They knew not to mess with me or my pets hair after that… and life went on normally. 20 years later and we still talk. 🙂

I feel for the girl who wanted face framing layers. I asked for a cute pixie and instead came out looking like a 12 year old boy. That horrible cut has now grown out into a terrible mullet.
Been there. Got a perm once ( by my Aunt's mother) She cut it short and v the curls were tight(I had imagined long, curly, flowing hair).
I got tight curls barely past my ears.. Hilariously bad. Smh.

Off topic, but here's a hair horror story: So when we were teenagers, my cousin read in a beauty magazine that you can prepare a hair/scalp mask from salt at home and it can improve your hair. I think you know where this is going 😅 So she made it, put it on her scalp and for some reason decided to put a beanie on to strengthen the effects I suppose. She was only supposed to keep it on for like 5 to 10 minutes before washing it off, BUT she started watching TV and she fell asleep... I went over to her place a few hours later and she had just woken up and she was SCREAMING, because burning sensation was what woke her up. She washed it off immediately, but the damage was done. Her entire forehead was red and extremely swollen and so was her head and even her ears were swollen. She had wounds all over her scalp and it took a long time to heal... she actually didn't go to school for like a week poor thing 😅 And the best part is her mom, my aunt is a professional hairdresser 😭🤣 Needless to say she's only been using real hair products ever since 😅

The bleach & breakage... Don't comb it right away and get the best condintioner You can afford. Condition and air dry...If U can stand it don't comb it the first day. ( If You absolutly must go buy a pick or wide tooth comb) That next night, condition again (again good conditioner matters..Like Biolage, Nexxus, etc .)
Also I've used oils like pure Argan oil, but not until about the 4th day.(DO NOT wash your hair for at least 4 days, condition and rinse only) Saturate your hair with it, use a hair drier on low and gently work the argan oil through your hair. Wash out after at least an hour and condition again.
Get a wide tooth comb and when You comb out go slow from the ends up , slowly working out the tangles.
Keep up this process and your hair will be better ( not perfect and you'll still have to be careful) but better.

Was thinking of you when I cut my hair this week using the curly technique- small sections and even left it a couple of days to let the curls rest and fall naturally so I can see if it needs some more work. I usually trim the curls individually after a small trim all over. 🤞🤞
I have to admit, my curls started looking soooooooooooo much better after I stopped going to a hairdresser, 😲 I wish styling schools would actually teach stylists more about natural curls
I had a highlight hair fail years ago. Thought I had washed all the product out, put it in a towel and chatted with my mom and friends for a while. You can imagine how that turned out. I have never tried to color my hair myself again. Thankfully that was many years ago and there's no evidence!
I tried to highlight my hair once only roots changed color. I put on a big headband because I had to work. I did go to a salon to fix it they just put brown over it something I could have done at home.

I love you so much more than Brad Mondo! He is so fake, his show is just about the drama and snide remarks without offering any real advice and I've seen several videos of hair dressers kinda "debunking" his videos that made sense (I'm not a hair dresser obviously but what they said made sense more than what he did.) and I simply can't take his vibes. On the other hand YOU I could watch ALL DAY. And, sometimes I DO. 😁😍 I've learned so much from watching you, I've laughed from watching your reaction videos and your personality just makes me feel like somebody you could go get a cup of coffee with and talk about hair or talk about about travel or just hang out with the kids, just a fun guy. My son is severely disabled and getting ready to get doubled hip reconstruction surgery and I've had a lot of sleepless nights here lately and been watching a lot of your videos to try to keep my mind off things and I just really want to thank you, you really don't know what the laughs have done for me at a time when tears would been really really easy instead but wouldn't have been nearly as good for me or my son or family. So thank you seriously and I really hope you to continue to grow from the bottom of my heart! ❤😊

WOW that color correction was serious talent. Can you show some good color correction results/process videos? I think the correction parts are really interesting and bring a serious point home about how much at home hair experiments can trash your hair.
Those sections were paper thin. That's how dedicated to doing the job correctly that hairdresser was. Good on them, the result was gorgeous.

This is why people think purple shampoo is drying. Its not, people just leave it in way too long. You leave any shampoo in longer than it says and it will be “drying”

I know I am not a nice person but I have zero pity for people that can't be bothered to research technique/do a proper job of their hair and absolutely destroy it. It could have easily been avoided with patience and half an hour of research. But no, gotta do something stupid for internet likes.
I have all the sympathy in the world for people that go to the salon and the hairdresser does them dirty, though. Nobody deserves that kind of betrayal.

When I was looking at the color correction clip, all I kept thinking was "What fine sections!!"
The powder is good when you are in a pinch when you run out of Dry Shampoo. It works you can juse baby powder or Face powder (translucent). But i only do that when i forgot to buy dry shampoo. I have red hair so i juse dry shampoo for dark hair leaves no white cast
I'm so grateful that I have a good hair stylist; I only wish she colored too.

I watch your videos and I'm amazed by my hairdresser. She is amazing. Did a full colour correction for me. Took 8 hours. Was only £100 and she wouldn't take a tip. Normally I buy products from her instead x xx

I love you laugh 😂 I’ve let my grey hair grow out over lockdown, I’ve naturally curly hair so I don’t use heat etc but I can’t stop my hair going yellow … I’ve just bought the new Olaplex 4p which has helped some but it just keeps returning… I may end up with highlights or dyeing it yet again… I sometimes think that bald sounds like a good option 🤣
Bleach is one of the worst things for your hair, especially if you have fine hair. There are so many high lift blonds. I won't let a hairdresser come near me with it!

I have a hair cringe story for ya- When I was like 14 I loved dying my hair all different colors. I used to saturate my hair with manic panic hair dye, didn't rinse it out, used a hair straightener on it and let it dry then brushed it out o___o I would heat press the color onto my hair and never rinsed it out xD I wanted it THAT vibrant! lol
I'm so happy that at 50, my hair went prematurely "blonde" enough, that I don't have to pre-lighten my hair when I do my bright orange and red! Oddly enough, that was a tip from a Sally's girl. She said that I *could* bleach it, but I'd only gain an extra week of color, maybe 9 days, and it would really mess up my hair. Or, I could just dye my hair a week earlier than usual, and my hair would be healthier.

Poor girl that had her hair butchered trying to get the face-framing layers. I cut my own framing layers into my hair because I don't trust the salon. When I last had my hair coloured I had her lightly trim my bangs she cut them back about a half an inch too far and took off all of my face-framing strands. What a nightmare to grow back. I have waist-length hair. Half of my hair is framed and the other half is straight missing a half inch chunk. I have always straightened my hair. I'll be going wavy for the next few years. This woman was so busy chatting that she wasn't paying attention. It used to be stylists were wonderful they were almost like therapists listening to people chattaway endlessly I find it's reversed now. I enjoy quiet time especially during a long process and even though I politely say I'm very tired and I'd rather not chat it seems they think okay that leaves all the more time for me to Rattle on. LOL in my opinion if the stylist is doing something that requires precision and is chatting away it's a good idea to go elsewhere.

I don't understand when a girl with very straight hair talks about her "natural boring hair" when there is a lot of hairstyles that she can get that I with my 2b frizzy hair can't. If she doesn't like it, she can use curlers once in a while.

One time I also got colour correction after I had a good dye from a different salon but the colour I wanted did not suit my face so I had to get it fixed . It took a long time and good amount but my usual salon did a great job . The main point is the damage dry hair .
Why does everyone think their hair is going to look exactly like the hair on the box! If they just checked a few more boxes in the same line but a different shade, they'll see the same woman with a different colour shade on her 'head'! And if some paid more attention to their hair instead of posing for tiktok they might not have such disappointment/disaster!
About hair color allergies, I know you are supposed to do patch test every time you color. But professional hair color folks don’t….. can’t you be allergic to professional color ?
yes you can, normally we need to do that also every time...
You can literally be allergic to anything, from sunlight to water to grass to foods. Honestly just depends on what your immune system wants to panic about.

Tbh i always has so much fear doing things like this, i have a lot of hair an my hair is thick and idk why but i lose a lot of hair like when i shower my hair is falling like it’s nothing so i had to cut my hair although it was sooo long but i really couldn’t handle the hair lose, it's not too much hair lose but it’s enough to make me frustrated so cut it and it's a lot better “despite the fact i've developed a habit of pulling my hair” so my hair is not in the best condition but i fear if i bleached it or did anything to i will lose it lol. Idk why i'm saying this but i just think hair is so precious to most girls so I don’t understand why would they bleach it without understanding how to do it...

U really have to over process your hair for it to fall our though don't u?.... I did my asian black hair to blonde years ago using 40 vol (yes bad girl I know) but even then it never fell out. So why didn't my hair fall out using such a high strength but these girls are losing alot of hair?
