Looks good. Only thing to put this over the top would be internal storage. Size aside, I think ulanzi has them beat on that part. Might pick some up anyways 🤙🏽
That would be good just in case there was any interference during recording. I’ll checkout the Ulanci Mics. But since publishing this video, DJI have released their mini mics, but I don’t think they’re as small as these, but they have some very interesting features. I feel money leaving my account the more I think about 🤣
@ the godox mic is literally the size of the clip of the ulanzi mic. That in itself is amazing and speaks volumes. The storage I think is a safety thing but I’m recording for me so it’s not like that’s a dealbreaker.
Thank you so much. I’m afraid there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this as that would requirer Bluetooth. You have to connect the receiver via one of the cables. That would make a great 2nd addition though 🤔
@Pulse8Reviews I'm using the godox xt1 and I'm using the trs cable to connect it to my zoom h5 audio recorder. I have also tried using it on my sony zv-e10. I'm getting a lot of consistent static noise. I have everything in my room switched off. When I use dnr it reduces the static a good bit but it also reduces the voice quality. I'm worried that maybe it's signal to noise ratio isn't very good. Or maybe my xt1 is faulty ?
Thank you for subscribing and your honest comment too Dez. I just don’t want to be like all the other UA-cam reviewers out there saying something is amazing, if it’s not 🤷♂️
Our editing is done in Final Cut, we add an EQ, voice isolation, a limiter and finally a compressor all to enhance it. If youuse FCPX, I’m more happy to share the specifics with you James 👍
@@Pulse8Reviews unfortunately I use davinci resolve 😅, I would be cool if you made a video on it all. It's insane how you improved the quality so much. I'm really impressed
@@jamesdunne2757Same can be done in Davinci Resolve. Has EQ, Voice Isolation and you can even use plugin named Clear (used to be Goyo) to take out ambient noise.

Update. Didn’t realize ulanzi did a tiny mic too. Disregard on the storage concern.
🤣🤣 will do buddy
Will the Godox pair up to the osmo action 5 ? Great video

I bought it recently but im experiencing a lot of noise. Are you just using it with the camera
Hi James, yes, we're just using it with our cameras, what are you using, perhaps I can help?

00:51 it sounds very thin and frail.
I would agree, at the end of the day, it’s a budget microphone which I’m pushing to the limits to see what it can do 👍
@Pulse8ReviewsI respect your honesty. I'm a subscriber now because of your honesty. Bless up 💪🏿🔥😎

Thank you so much, that’s not a bad idea, I’ve added it to my video list 👍
